The church must renew the pledge to teach truth and to teach how we love and live among all people. Jesus showed us how to live in a community that is inclusive of all people, that loves all people and cares for all people even though it is His family that reigns with Him.

Our nation cannot continue to ignore the need for spiritual guidance from God and expect to have continued success. The whole bible witnesses this fact. God is long suffering but He is also a God of judgment.

This Christmas season, at its core, represents the battle between truth and the lie. Jesus Christ, the Truth in bodily form, came to earth during this season to destroy the destructive work of the lie that had contaminated mankind.
If God made character a necessary qualification for high office, surely we should as well.
Man’s failure to respect God as Sovereign has caused the chaos we now experience in our world. Creator God in the beginning introduced Himself and met regularly with the first man and woman in the Garden of Eden to give them guidance for a wholesome life. They eventually broke the rules and nothing has been the same since (Gen 3:16-18).
There have been some very revealing books written recently that call out the motive behind the evangelical and prosperity movements. Jesus did not come with a political agenda nor did He teach the church to have one. His mission was one of sacrifice to provide restoration for the people. Let’s not get distracted in this season by looking to man rather than Christ. It is Jesus Christ that we need in this hour!
The people we think are the worst people are still souls that God love and want to redeem. Regardless of how bad we think a person is, God is still the Creator of that soul and loves and finds value in His creation. His goal is always redemption and therefore we are told to pray for the person.
