This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was. 2Ti 3:1

God is requiring that America tell the truth. That is the only way the nation will heal. You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free (Joh 8:32). The truth is not always pretty, convenient, or easy; but it is the path to healing. The lie hides the truth and keeps the hurt buried where it festers and cause all kinds of harm within and without. What happens when an animal dies within the wall or under your house? Nobody wants to see the dead carcass but until you find it and dispose of it properly you will have no rest in that house. Sin is like that. It particularly offends the nostrils of God. Sin tells on us as well because it affects us one way or another whether in the physical, mental or spiritual area.
America cannot be who she is supposed to be because of sin. While some people are telling their stories and exposing sin there are others trying to hide America’s sin. As was just explained, it cannot be easily hidden and it does not want to keep quiet. This is America’s time. This is the time for America to come clean. God cannot effectively use any vessel until it has been purified and this nation has never confessed or atoned for its sins. We all hear the beacon for America to do what is right. We hear of some nations around us who have acknowledged their sin and made apology and reconciliation to those wronged. Even Germany with its atrocities perpetrated in the past, acknowledged its error and has tried to reconcile its sin. However, the great nation of America has risen up warriors (mostly white, professing Christian leaders and followers) who are willing to fight to keep sin covered and denied. What an embarrassment to the world nations!
The other day I arose from sleep and I heard these words from the spirit: “Pull down evil and dethrone the devil.” It rang loudly in my ears as I meditated on it and realized it was biblical based; but my flesh shuddered at the thought of relaying it to others. I meditated on it and asked God to confirm that was what he was saying. Later in the day, I felt an unmistakable anointing and a move in my spirit that signals download of a message, so I began to write:
Pull Down Evil and Dethrone the Devil
What has felt like an avalanche of troubles has in fact been the judging of God. In every nation there ought to be someone who can hear and speak a word from the mouth of God. Only those nations that God allows to remain exist today and only God knows the reason why these nations remain. Some of the worst nations have been or will be used of God for His purposes that may never be understood. America, too, has a great purpose but only if she remains a voice for God. The nation has served as a voice for good; but like many nations, now has begun to turn within for her own purposes. You have heard in my word “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” Only through remaining with God does the blessing of God continue with that nation. America is at a crossroad where her fate is about to be decided. As in Jerusalem before her fall, everyone had heard the message of destruction and they waited to see if it would be so. Arrogance dared God to fulfill His word; but in the end, the word prevailed and the nation fell to her enemy. God is still the same; blessing some nations and destroying others. It is time for America to decide its fate. She has lived in the mercy of God for years while standing against the word of God and daring God to move. But God is ready to move and this last test will determine how it will go. Evil has risen to the high places and flows across the land. It must be stopped or it will destroy the land. As Daniel prophesied that God would wait on the people to put away evil or be consumed, so is the test that is before this people. This is an opportunity for America to put away sin and the rule of evil in every form. My word requires my children to do so. Those who have refused to rise up against evil have seen it grow and contaminate lives as it grew. Again, I say, put away evil lest it destroy you. A final end is determined unless the land is purged. In every house, put away evil before the house is consumed. Those that will not judge evil and put it away from you will be judged as if you were compliant with it. Confirm the Lord that He is God and there is none other. There is only a short time allotted to make His ways straight before I will deal with America as I have dealt with Sodom because the great grace you have been shown has not brought better results. My mercy is long but it is not infinite toward evil. Consider the course you take and make adjustments to that which is right. To the righteous: I am cleansing my house and the righteous shall remain. Be steadfast until it is done saith the Lord.
Even children in elementary school know there is something different going on. Their lives are disrupted and their parent’s behavior erratic. America is trying to change the foundation on which she has long stood and that is not an easy task. The words above may sound strange to some people, but they are not new. They replicate those heard in the Garden; preached to Noah’s generation; those Elijah spoke to the false prophets; the words of Daniel for generations to come; spoken by the Hand writing on the wall to King Belshazzar; and prophecy awaiting the great nation of Babylon: sin brings judgment. It is the sound of judgment that always and invariably comes to all those that disobey God. It is an example of the long suffering of the Lord as He pleads one last time to turn around from doing wrong. But also to every one who has sat under evil, it is an opportunity to depart from it or demand righteousness (Ez 9:4). Queen Esther caused the decree to come down for one day of vengeance on the enemy. Elijah disposed of Jezebel’s false prophets after proving God’s power over the devil. God knows how to bring evil rule to an end.
In the New Testament, God’s people are told to come out from among the wicked (2Co 6:17), because judgment was about to bring its penalty on the wicked. In Eze 9:4, God made a difference between the wicked and those that cried out in prayer against them. God responded to their cry by having His angels mark the righteous to be spared and put a different mark on the wicked set for destruction. No one would escape their reward. These scriptures show the seriousness by which God deals with sin in judgment and how He compels His children to denounce evil and choose to do what is right. The only way evil could take over is that those called the righteous do not stand up for righteousness in times of peril. We just saw it. But God prevailed. The children of God are His tools in the earth to pull down the rule of evil through their prayers, preaching, witnessing and, particularly in America, by activism, vote, and through the legal democratic processes. Many nations do not have civil discourse for removal of evil leaders but America does and will be held responsible for inaction. Every house, town, city, state and organization is led by someone whether good or evil. Leaders or members may resist correction of sin but Jesus as Lord over every believer will judge individual and corporate sin and demands the putting away of evil (2Ki 3:2; Isa 1:16; Mar 8:15; 1Co 5:6-13; Act 5:3-10). God has shown us in our time that He can appoint judgment on one house and spare the one next to it. He has given us the ability to do everything He asks of us. In everything God asks He is there to help us. Jesus has empowered the believer with faith and power to carry out His will.
I recently read Martin Luther King‘s “Letter from Birmingham Jail” and found that he spent much of it expressing his disappointment at the church: “Is organized religion too inextricably bound to the status quo to save our nation and the world? Perhaps I must turn my faith to the inner spiritual church, the church within the church, as the true ekklesia and the hope of the world.” The world has progressed in the last 50 plus years but it still appears the church is ineffective in changing our society for good. Mankind has proven to be: “…lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God.” What has changed over the past 50 years is the liberty and power of the individual (the church) to choose to follow Christ. The real church has the power to overcome the devil through the Holy Spirit. Ultimately we will all have to answer to God for what we have done with His gifting.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1Jn 4:4
