A Story Of White Fear, American Turmoil And How To Overcome It

The Scene of the Crime

Anyone who has been a fan of Columbo or Perry Mason mysteries knows that a good detective will always go back to the scene of the crime to understand what happened and the motivation for the crime.  There are usually clues and evidence left at the scene that helps to tell the story.  In my own times of inner turmoil, I have found myself revisiting the scene to uncover the real reason for the problem.  A minister would probably state the problem is sin.  A psychiatrist might diagnose the cause stems from childhood trauma.  Courts rule and bring judgment regardless of the reason for the crime.  Most people would say just go on and live your life; however, there are some things that just will not lie at rest without a thorough examination and resolution.  History reveals that unresolved problems often repeat themselves.  Fortunately for us, there is a “Special Investigator” willing to walk through every problem with us to reveal the culprit and reason before judging.  He brings light into the darkness to reveal every hidden element.  Moses recorded these words:  “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations: ask thy father, and he will shew thee; thy elders, and they will tell thee (Deu. 32:7).”

People in America and those without are observing the inner turmoil and collision of American politics, religion, economy and community.  The pandemic’s confinement of families to their homes brought out stories of rising abuse in American homes.  Church services were cancelled; but, nevertheless, became a source of controversy and target of political and legal debate.  The political party known as the religious right, the Republican Party, voted to oust one of its most loyal members, Rep. Liz Cheney, from leadership, simply because she would not stand with the Republican Party in supporting the big lie of a stolen Trump presidency in the 2020 election.

What is going on?  CNN News recently did a special broadcast on Marvin Gaye’s 1971 album exploring that very question.  Marvin’s song questioned the cause of young men dying, the ravage of war, protest in the streets, poverty, and police brutality. Why is our world topsy-turvy?  We are repeating the same incidents of turmoil over and over, generation after generation.  The nation is experiencing abuse of power in high places, accusations of over policing, national protests, business corruption, family corrosion and political turmoil.  We need to revisit the crime scene and get more evidence to discover the real cause while realizing that America has a short attention span, resists acceptance of any fault and only wants to hear the positive about herself.

 A History of Exploitation

During the 15th through 19th centuries; the major world powers of Great Britain, France, Spain, Netherlands and Portugal warred for power, control and riches.  The leaders over these countries claimed the tenets of the Christian faith and yet battled for superior power.  The land that would be America was fought over by these warring nations and was considered as valuable as the gold that would eventually be unearthed there.

When we understand the motives of these nations and their venture into this land, it opens up our understanding to why the nation of America is in such turmoil.  These were parenting nations.  The kingdoms that originally battled for this land sent explorers here to compete for its power and wealth, motivated by self-greed.  Within these kingdoms, blood rose up against blood for possession of the throne’s power and wealth.  The nature of these kingdoms and the grandeur to which they were accustomed motivated their search for more power, more riches, more land and servants to magnify their kingdom.  British citizens, wanting to flee their rulers, originally supplied the need for laborers as indentured servants and prison laborers but later Native Americans were exploited as a labor force.  The African slave trade of the 17th Century proved to be the settlers’ best source for plentiful and consistent free labor.  Millions of Africans stolen from their homeland and shipped cramped in the bottom of slave ships were to bring their new white slave masters great wealth through laboring till death on plantations, producing crops and building structures that made America a world power.  Desmond Tutu, a South African Anglican cleric and theologian recently said:  “When the missionaries came to Africa they had the bible and we had the lands. They said ‘Let us pray.’  We closed our eyes. When we opened them we had the bible and they had the land.” South Africans spent many years under exploitation of other nations and was colonized by the English and Dutch in the 17th century.  Discovery of diamonds in the 1900s brought an English invasion of war.  Within a few years afterward, Apartheid rule was ushered in by one of two remaining ruling parties.  The Afrikaner National Party invented the Apartheid system, 1948-1994, for the purpose of racial separation, discrimination, exercising control and establishing white-only jobs and rights that oppressed the majority native black population.  The South African, Netherland-born Hendrik Frensch Verwoerd, skilled as a politician, scholar of applied psychology and sociology and chief newspaper editor was regarded as the architect of the Apartheid system.  He promoted white supremacy while also serving as their prime minister, a Christian Calvinist, born to an evangelist father of the Dutch Reform Church, and a past supporter of Nazi Germany in World War II.  To their credit, the native South Africans liberated their land from white rule under the leadership of Nelson Mandela, who served as their first president from 1994 to 1999.

When I have found myself wondering about the state of things in my own life and those of other African Americans, I have often taken the time to journey back to the scene of the crime.  My life, like that of so many African Americans, is an extension and part of the mechanism that has been working for over 400 years in this nation to make the white population rich at the expense of black suffering.  The millions of African slaves on American plantations lived only to serve the demands of their white masters, who violently afflicted or killed them at will for minor infractions.  The personal lives of slaves did not matter and subsequently neither have the lives of their descendants.  African slaves and American blacks have been a means to an end for the greater wealth of the white population who took this land by force from Native Americans while abusing or killing them in the process.  Those receiving the wealth did not care about the discomfort of those exploited to acquire their wealth.  Free labor was plentiful through slaves imported from Africa and birthing their off springs, often through rape.  The masters’ sole concern was acquiring wealth and power while maintaining strict control.  Ongoing news reporting is proving every day that there is not much difference between the past attitudes of apartheid white leaders of South Africa and American Republicans who are now fearful of blacks obtaining their full rights or leadership.  It has been said that previously American whites did not fear giving blacks the vote because blacks were in the minority.  However, recent population projections reveal a non-white majority for America’s future.  That in itself explains a lot of the strange behavior by white politicians.  Clearly, fear is a strong motivator for many of them and is a reason for their recent increased voter suppression activities.

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. Heb 11:10

Modern America – A Veiled Apartheid Nation

The cruel truth is that America’s modernization and expressions of freedom today have not changed substantially the ongoing principles of control, cheap labor, and the elite’s ability to acquire wealth at the detriment of the poor.  Today as in days past, white people have held the reins of power and the community purse strings that they have maneuvered according to their will.  White American businessmen learned early how to set up unjust legal systems for the exploitation of the underclass and then point the offender to the law and their white authority to punish.  They used legal, social and religious supports to help appease the opposition: unjust judges, Uncle Toms, and hired false preachers.  THAT is the foundation on which this nation was built and that birthed the resulting long-term bondage and corruption of all kinds that stem from those first efforts of an elite society exploiting the weak.  Stories of denials, deaths, and exploitations are now being unearthed to the amazement of modern audiences who were not taught the true history of the nation during school and how the settlers’ Christian beliefs failed to convict their consciences or hinder their resolve to obtain their goals by the cruelest possible methods, i.e. the burning of Black Wall Street.  A recent story ran to my horror of how Christian priests who schooled Indian children for Christian discipleship stole them away from their beds at night for sexual exploitation and the unearthed bodies founded from that period.  The only peace one can have from such recounting is that God’s eyes run everywhere and will reward each man according to his deeds.

American methods of compiling wealth have become more complex today; but, at its core, the issues are the same.  It is no longer the European royals who seek to take the wealth of this land by force for their kingdom purposes, but it is white Americans themselves willing to obtain wealth by similar means against other Americans.  After defeating European rule and overthrowing their abusive and imperial power over this land and the settlers, Americans began to accumulate elite power and build their own kingdoms on plantations using forced slave labor and laws to control slaves and other underclass citizens.  The lust of white Americans for land, wealth and power had little regard that it was obtained by breaking treaties and tearing up legal agreements for confiscated Native lands, forced labor of slaves, and breakup of slave families.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1Ti 6:10

Native Americans and surely black families suffered for generations to come from the physical, mental and financial repercussions of divided families and property lost.  That is the characteristic and spirit that has been present in this nation since the Europeans crossed the waters.  The history behind the prosperity of America is a sordid story that is difficult to hear but must be aired to cleanse the conscience of those that carry it in their ancestry and God requires us to confront the truth for complete healing.  Christian ethics, social norms, and laws were skirted to get the most profit with little concern for what was right.  American history is too brutal for any soul to hear in a single sitting but Americans must learn their roots or they will repeat them in ignorance.   Perhaps knowledge of the past will deter some descendants from committing the horrors of their ancestors.  Illegal laws on voting, gerrymandering, redlining, taxes, and court regulations, etc. were made to favor white people while history was white washed to cover it up.  Although Christian outrage, social conscience and labor unions have sometimes intervened for a season to protect the laborers and citizenry; profit has always been the strongest motivation leading white businessmen and politicians.  Potential profit has caused the over throw of moral standards and enlisted even virtuous citizens to comply with profitability over morality as we see in our society today.  White Christians are outwardly supporting the breaking of laws to promote white nationalism. To this day, white people refuse to acknowledge and reconcile past evil and will fight to deny it happened.  It has to be called out in the open today lest some will say, “I did not know.”

Against all odds and opposition of the other party, Abraham Lincoln, the Republican President in 1863, brought African slaves deliverance from exploitation on slave plantations.  Lincoln did not claim to be a Christian, nevertheless, he showed Christian conviction toward righteousness and abolished slavery.  Today’s Republicans, who have claimed a position of Christian morality, have resorted back to the position of exploitation of the underclass with low-wages while diminishing the protection of laws to deny employee rights that could reduce the profit margins of rich people that support their campaigns.  People like Liz Cheney who wanted to remind the Republican elites of better principles and Christian practices are like road kill under the tires of the Republicans whose sole goal is profit.  There is a vindictiveness and hard heartiness in many Republicans that is hard to look at and it causes one to wonder about their home life.  The things that seem to matter most to these power grabbers within our nation is the same as what mattered to the nations that first explored these lands:  How much wealth will it yield whether right or wrong and changing laws to justify their position. What was formerly done in dark, smoke-filled rooms is now televised and debated before the whole world as politics. Statistics show that America has about a 50/50 chance of surviving the present attacks against democracy if righteous Americans do not gain the fortitude of the early Americans to strive toward a godly nation.  There is an outward boldness of negative motives that is poisoning our society. The murder of black men that has always been done with impunity is now being questioned and brought to daylight by journalists and the witness of electronic devices but there is an equal force that is denouncing the visible evidence and telling people to not believe what they are seeing.  “For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither anything hid, that shall not be known and come abroad” (Lk 8:17).   The ruthlessness of the elite that is set on gaining power and profit at any cost have corrupted leadership in the religious, political and business arenas of our society.  Each of these groups having taken a vow of integrity is showing a denial of their vows for immediate gain.

American Christianity which resulted from the protest of Martin Luther against unrighteous practices of the Catholic Church and America’s own protest against unjust taxation from England upon the settlers, is now a force that wants to overthrow American government by far-right protesters to oppress blacks.  We must remember that apartheid Africa was born in the mind of a Christian religious leader as prime minister, born to Christian parents and also that Adolph Hitler professed Christianity at various times.  Professing Christianity does not necessarily mean one is a child of God.   After the multitudes died during the Christian crusades to defend the Christian faith and the multiple of nations around the world that chose national Christianity as their ruling model, it appears that true Christianity has not been achieved by many Americans.  It appears to be used as a cloak to do the will of elite whites who want to rule by their own will like the white South Africans or the German Nazis.  White Christians tend to follow the lead of their political leaders and their white pastors fail to lead and contend with them from biblical truth.  Christ does not cause His children to be mindless drones following anyone who steps forward to lead but believers are to take on the mind of Christ and learn from scripture.  America has about a 50/50 division of political parties and may not long contain a wayward society determined to have its way at any cost.  Now is the time when the acts of past perpetrators of atrocities against blacks can be reconciled in their descendants of this generation if they will learn the truth and seek God.  Now is the time when those whites who claim to be true Christians should stand up against past errors found in their own church body and citizenry and prove their faithfulness to Christ. Apostle Paul was a Jew but he admitted the sins of his people, the Jews, and went on to serve God.  The sins of the children of Israel is not hidden in scripture but rather exposed to the sunlight and presented as a lesson for all men.  God also told His people to retell their stories and set markers and celebrations to help retain their history and lessons.  The wickedness that is coming to the forefront of America will require a greater force of power and righteousness than what seems possible by those that are still reeling from the shock of it all.  Neither can black Americans just sit back and expect white people to correct themselves and do what is right because they have little incentive to do so.  African Americans must rely on the Lord Jesus Christ and His wisdom for deliverance from the lies told and the bondage experienced.  God is the Deliverer of a believing people of any nationality for He is the Creator of all people.  Jesus is a Savior for all people.

Many Americans as part of an organized democracy are accustomed to the comfort of having representatives fight for them while they support those representatives with their finances and voice; and they may fail to arise  and in strength to respond to the subtle and camouflaged enemy approaching from within its ranks.  Christ’s rebuke of Peter’s protest of Jesus going to the cross is an example for the church of how we have to  protest against our own comrades when they are misguided or tempted to prevent a righteous cause (Mt. 16:23).  The enemy may come in any type of camouflaged to win his cause but the children of God are taught to recognize his disguise.  This is the time to admit that being a team player is not more important than supporting right.  The recent story on the news revealed family members willing to call out and stand against their own sibling for public evil conduct.  That is an example taught by Christ when He rebuked Peter. Christ is not a respecter of persons and the devil can use any body available to him.    It is also time to admit that being politically correct has brought us to this crisis in American where people are supporting and reinforcing wrong behavior because of ideology and class even when they know the acts are wrong.

The white community has always used blacks as a scapegoat.  The most notable examples are probably the use of black people in science projects and in flooding black neighborhoods with drugs for their enrichment. HIV/Aids was a problem for those “other” people (the homosexuals, poor, blacks, drug addicts) until it began to be revealed in the main stream population of white people.  That’s when it began to get more attention for research, funding, and celebrity telethons to reduce the disease until it is barely heard of anymore.  Government programs tend to help the white community before the funds reach its intended targets. The Covid-19 pandemic provided congressional funds to help the needy, but funds went first to white contacts that were wealthy friends, businesses, church and politicians for their own interests. It has long been reported that in the burning of Rome, the Emperor Nero, was responsible but blamed the vulnerable Jewish community.  In more recent news, the Republicans are trying to legislatively suppress the black vote so that they continue preserving services and programs for white constituents. Similarly to the white Apartheid leaders of South African, there was no correction to be found within their own leadership.  The oppressed had to speak up and God heard and helped them.  The silence of the righteous in a time of trouble only strengthens the hands of the wicked.   Their silence makes them complicit in the wrong done.   Desmond Tutu also said: “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”  Christians are taught to recognize God at work by His Spirit and they should also recognize the enemy’s work.  The difference between God’s work and that of the enemy can be recognized by most people but the Word of God calls it by name and the Holy Spirit will identify it to the children of God.  Christians were empowered by the Lord so that they could have the boldness and assurance of divine assistance when they stand up in times of trouble.  There is no excuse for wealthy mega churches not standing up for right causes in the name of Christ.  This was the position of the German Christians when Hitler arose.  They sat back and watched believing it did not involve them…until it did.  Christian believers should not be complicit or continue to support those churches that remain silent in times of conflict because God will still hold them responsible for their inaction.

This is a season in America’s history where America’s sins are been exploded on the front pages of newspapers and televised for the nations; but top white leaders of the nation are doubling down in their opposition against admission of wrongdoing and denying opportunities to change.  While the white media is interviewing black journalists and experts, there seems to be no motivation for the white community to look within using the evidence being revealed and demand a change of the status quo because their people are the beneficiaries of black oppression.  God will not allow their sin to remain covered while the weak suffer at their hand.   Also the white media are accustomed to talking a problem into oblivion.  While talking about a problem is good, it should not become a substitute for action to resolve the problem.  The devil is conniving and will seek to make black people think something is being done to solve a problem because it is being discussed, when actually nothing is being done to resolve it.  For example, the recent Black Lives Matter protests were very vocal about black discrimination and police abuse but it was talked into oblivion.  They covered it in the news until people got tired of hearing about it and then when white people had shown their willingness to listen, they also decided when to cut it off.  No legislation has passed to change anything and putting people in the White House who promise to change things is a repeat of the Kennedy, Johnson, Clinton and Obama eras that have brought us to where we still need to protest the same problems.    Russia’s Vladimir Lenin said: “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.” The exploration of recent black protests were mostly reported and interviewed by “white people” and the majority that supported black opposition in the presidential election was “white people”.  White people are unlikely and cannot be expected to defeat their own oppression of black people because they are the perpetrators and the beneficiaries of black oppression. This is a fight of white oppression of black people and black people will have to take their own stand for their own rights against white oppression as did the natives of South Africa.   A. Randolph Philip said: “Freedom is never given; it is won.”  White people cannot fight this war for us because it goes against their nature of whiteness, which is at the core of who they are.  A white mega church pastor recently said that he did not think white people understood the depth of America’s racism.  That’s like saying I don’t think the slaveholder understands how much harm he is doing to the slave.  That is nonsense.  It is difficult to be the perpetrator of a crime and yet claim innocence of the crime.  With all the harm that has been done to black people by the white community, whites are busy claiming no responsibility, blaming all the wrong to their ancestors and feign bewilderment about the visible results of black oppression.  It was amazing to hear the video confession of a white woman at the 33rd Race Relations Institute held July 14, 2000 at Fisk University, tell how white people have always known that black people were the biblical people of the bible and that Jesus was also black.  She confessed how black people still show empathy and sympathy for white people at times and that they should not because white people are the perpetrator of evil toward blacks.  White people have manipulated the black population for so long until blacks have taken on the personality that adjusts and complies with the abuser.  We have seen this personality portrayed in wives with an abusive husband who makes her cower beneath him.  The former president who inspired the attack on the Capitol was the same one who had called for prayer and repentance on the National Day of Prayer 2020.   He portrayed the role of an abusive husband toward the nation and no one seemed to know what to do because no one had ever anticipated such a thing could happen, except those immigrants who had fled their homeland for American freedom.  Some of the white community understood the problem but many were determined to have their way as the following article details:

‘How Did We Get Here?’ A Call For An Evangelical Reckoning On Trump by RACHEL MARTIN

January 13, 2021 5:08 AM ET

Heard on Morning Edition

As fallout continues from the deadly siege on the U.S. Capitol, Ed Stetzer, head of the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College in Illinois, has a message for his fellow evangelicals: It’s time for a reckoning.

Evangelicals, he says, should look at how their own behaviors and actions may have helped fuel the insurrection. White evangelicals overwhelmingly supported President Trump in the 2020 election.

Some in the protest crowd raised signs with Christian symbolism and phrases.

‘Part of this reckoning is: How did we get here? How were we so easily fooled by conspiracy theories?’ he tells NPR’s Rachel Martin. ‘We need to make clear who we are. And our allegiance is to King Jesus, not to what boasting political leader might come next.’

In the interview, Stetzer also laments that evangelicals seem to have changed their view of morality to support Trump.

‘So I think we just need to be honest. A big part of this evangelical reckoning is a lot of people sold out their beliefs,’ he says. – NPR.org, January 13, 2021

Christians and insurrectionists made for strange bedfellows, but it helps to know their motivation.  Both were willing to maintain the status quo by force if necessary to keep a white majority and establish a white nation.  Note again that this desire for a white nation was the motivation for Apartheid South Africa and Adolph Hitler’s Nazi army.  Both the insurrectionists and evangelicals believe they have to usher in a sudden change by force to bring about the coming of the Lord who can only come after Christians take over or cause a chaotic period to help switch to a white nationalism.  The evangelicals believe the Lord cannot come back until they do their part and they are willing to join in with the far right wing actors who want to start a civil war or world war to bring an end to our world to start a new one.  Conspiracy theories have become so common place among particularly right wing Christians that their beliefs make them difficult to reason with.  The unity of a group of people set on doing wrong was so egregious in one generation that it got the attention of God and we should hope for His intervention again.  He looked at the Tower of Babel and said:

And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.  And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.  Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth. Gen 11:5-9

The great danger that we face is that the insurrection and ongoing trial of the instigators have not changed their mind from wanting to overthrow the capitol or leadership by physical power.  They may be in confusion but their minds are unified in this one thing: to use force to overthrow government and set up Trump as leader.

Blacks who share their complaints with the white media and congress do not necessarily affect a change in the conscience of whites by recounting their stories.  The majority of the white population (57%) supported Former President Trump in the 2020 election and 81% white evangelicals gave him their vote.  Hearing the information reported should, however, cause more blacks to realize their jeopardy and rally to the cause to protect their interest.  Unfortunately, we have to acknowledge that some black leaders have compromised with whites for their own personal benefit and survival.  Nevertheless, just as God rose up the new generation after the wilderness debacle and put Joshua in charge to lead a new people of faith, He is well able to rise up a new generation to lead His people into freedom.

Some preachers who should be sounding the alarm are bringing mundane messages that do not alert the church members of the need to organize for their survival.  This is the sleep that the scriptures spoke of that would cause the failure of a people in the end times:

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.  (1Th 5:3-6).

An example of the danger is the threat we face from Republican suppression of the voting process that would affect black rights and liberty.  The biblical Israeli and the early Christians were aware that they had enemies nearby.  The biblical Christians did not look to Rome for their salvation like the black community is today.  They got their direction from God.  I was instructed by the spirit of God to write a book in 2017 entitled:  “Christianity and Ethnicity:  Is Christ Concerned about Race?”  This book was written to help Christians and black Christians in particular to understand racial issues facing the church.  We must know who we are in Christ to maneuver these times.  God sent His prophets in the Old Testament to alert His people of danger and Jesus sent the Holy Spirit to individual believers for discernment of danger and give help from the spirit realm.  Whites who hold economic, political, and religious power in the black community have used their group influence for generations to hinder the progress of blacks and are being bolder today, never mind that their acts are being televised.  They have been religious and yet have somehow missed God’s best for them.  We saw powerfully in the 2020 presidential election how the majority of whites united across the spectrum of faith and professions to obtain their worldly goal.  At the core of the struggle we are dealing with is the hate of black freedom by whites.  Black people at every level of authority who do not see this are putting black people at risk.  Whites have always known their prejudice against black people was wrong and they were willing to go to any means to preserve white rule.  White ministers justified slave-owners’ cruelty rather than challenge them to do what was biblically correct.  That means that their Christianity was also flawed.  White Christians have long overlooked Christ’s command to love their neighbor while they solidified their unity and power as a people.  Their goal like the royals from their homelands was to satisfy their own needs at the expense of those considered insignificant.

A former leader in the Ugandan Anglican church, Bishop David Zac Niringiye, recently spoke to a white Christian audience about the attitude of superiority they hold toward blacks.  He was asked by a young American white man of the Christianity Today staff how they could help him.  Here is part of their exchange during that meeting taken from a Christianity Today article:

Bishop Zac recalled his response: “I thanked him for that question and I said, ‘That’s precisely the issue. Who told you I need your help?'”  “Brother, we don’t need your help,” he said, as he continued the story. “Why? Because there is another false narrative which is the narrative of superiority.  Let me be bold: white America, you have a challenge because you have a narrative of superiority.”

Bishop Zac continued with these points:  “White American Christians were not the only ones susceptible to narratives. [There’s] a myth that created a certain narrative about what it means to be African. An African feels inferior to a white man. That is a tragedy. …What Africans must do is repent of this view of inferiority. We must take responsibility for our narratives.  It’s a confidence crisis. Many years of colonial oppression created a situation in which Africans started to believe they were inferior.

Here is one of the things I am struggling with: how the concept of the common good is lacking in our theology. This lack of common good often manifests in resource and social inequities, depriving people of equal access. Ultimately, dividing people, whether by religious denomination or geography, made it difficult for a ‘common good’ to exist.” – Morgan Lee, “Repenting of Superiority”, Christianity Today, https://www.christianitytoday.org/stories/inside-ministry/2017/june/repenting-of-superiority.html

God loves all people but He does defend the oppressed against their oppressors and stand with righteousness.  Various articles and books have been written where spokespersons from the white community have identified errors in the white ideology concerning Christianity, their relationship with Trump and the black community.  Candidate Trump clearly revealed his racial prejudice, moral failure and his lack of Christian devotion and yet some of the most noted Christian pastors supported His run for president.   White power and rule works to the advantage of all whites, even for those that disagree with their leaders’ behavior toward blacks.  A very interesting article was written in 2019 where it appears God was able to reach some white Christians with a word of correction and direction.   With the advantage of hindsight of the 2020 events, we can attest it was a true word.

When Mike Bickle and his team at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) decided to indefinitely suspend their popular Onething conference late last year, Bickle didn’t realize his decision was the most recent example of a curious trend in charismatic ministries. Throughout 2018, Spirit-filled ministries around the world announced the end of beloved programs, conferences or even the entire ministry. The decisions came not due to scandal, bankruptcy or lack of success—rather, each one came because God told them to end it.

‘The Lord just said, ‘I want you to reconnect on this,’ Bickle says. ‘Draw back. Go deep with Me, and then second, go deep with one another in community and family. Let’s spend more time talking and interacting with each other and with Me, and then I’ll breathe on you, and I’ll help you go back to more increased activity in the future.’ The activities are good. There’s nothing wrong with the activities. But all of them together meant we’re weren’t spending quality time with the Lord like we used to, and we weren’t spending the quality time with each other that’s necessary for the kingdom community to operate. Written by Joshua Olson, “The Real Reason So Many Charismatic Conferences Are Ending”, CHARISMA LEADER, 3/9/2019, The Real Reason So Many Charismatic Conferences Are Ending — Charisma Leader (ministrytodaymag.com)

In the quotes above we hear the Lord directing Christians to care more about each other than material things.  It is a witness too that God is always faithful to send His word of warning before He brings judgment.  It is our fault if we do not listen and follow through on what He said.  All of us know that 2020 followed 2019 and a lot of people, programs, organizations, and churches suffered as a result of the Coronavirus that hit the whole globe.  God was saying “no” to our way of doing things.  God does not always approve of our religious practices and has a right to halt them.  We are allowed a certain amount of liberty in our faith; but oftentimes left to ourselves without prayer and guidance; we can get carried away by carnal desires.  The true saints are helped during a time of judgment but the disobedient fall by the wayside.  We know that the white community rallied behind Donald Trump for president in 2016 and expected a similar victory in 2020 but God did not give them their desire.  The chaos afterward is because they could imagine no other way but theirs and are still trying to force their plan to manifest.  That kind of inability to change direction cannot be superior to all other people.  People of wisdom learn to be flexible because God alone is Sovereign.  What God gave all of us was opportunity to consider our ways while we sat home unable to visit friends, work or fellowship with others.  Word to the wise, we are still being given time to correct our errors.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high place… Eph 6:12

War of the Lords

At times when wickedness flourishes and the devil has his way for a season, people begin to question whether or not there is a God.  The question of whether God exists is evidence of how far many are from Him.  The secular community and political world have not wanted to even acknowledge that there is a devil and usually the devil prefers to hide while doing his evil.  In the last few years, he has been bold enough to have a program on television called “Lucifer,” an image of himself on primetime TV and to set up idols at prime locations in New York and Washington, D.C.  After working silently in the background, he and his followers believe the soil ready for him to come forth and declare himself.  This comes after the church refused to take a stand against obvious sins, took down moral guidelines and accepted the nation being called post Christian.

ARCH OF BAAL ERECTED IN WASHINGTON DC – Sept 26 2018 – On 26 September 2018, the Institute for Digital Archaeology unveiled a replica of Palmyra, Syria’s iconic Triumphal Arch on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  A replica of the famous arch has already been displayed in New York, London, Florence, and Dubai.

Some people may be confused about the battle going on in congress between the Democrats and the Republicans but they should not be.  We all saw the former president come out and declare his hatred of foreigners, women, blacks, veterans and the poor.  These are some of the people God expresses particularly care for.  He states in scripture His concern for the underclass and forsaken.  If you want to know who is for God, look at those that care about what He cares about.  Now there were a number of religious people from some of the most noted churches who stated that this man was a born again child of God.  Jesus said we should try the spirit to see if it be of God.  The spirit he often displays is not like the Lord.  In plain language, as the poet, Maya Angelou is often quoted for saying: “When people tell you who they are, believe them.”  His display of hatred has been a constant throughout his term. Six hundred thousand people dead and multitudes of families separated at the border cannot be misunderstood, regardless of what the collaborators say.

When we look at the fight going on in congress and how there is no agreement on the simplest matters, we have to wonder what is at the root of such disagreement.  The leader of the Republican Party, Mitchell McConnell, called himself the Grim Reaper.  There is not a whole lot needed to be said after that.  He has led his party and promised to oppose the Democrats regardless of what they propose.  His words and actions are the fruits that Jesus told us we could observe to know a person’s character and spirit.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. Mat 7:16-17

The believers do not necessarily need the government to provide for them but it is one of the sources God uses. People that pay into the secular system and have a right to receive from it.  Believers are part of a spiritual family that cares for those who need it particularly the elderly and poor.  The church is to be a social net for the needy when all else fails because they represents Christ and His care for the needy.  The devil is rising up in major public ventures to show himself powerful against God and His people.  Where the people are dependent on secular services or secular legislation affect the liberties or rights of God’s people, the church as the arm of God should respond. When heathen kingdoms rose up against Abraham and his family to steal their rights, Abraham went to battle against the enemy.  At the core of the congressional battle we can see good and evil in battle playing out between God and the devil but it is being portrayed as a battle against black people and white superiority that threatens the rights of black people.  God will defeat wickedness and cause the righteous to prevail in the end because He is the Omnipotent God.  How much will we suffer though until that time?

Bible scripture states that we are not fighting a physical battle but a spiritual one where the devil uses people to stir up trouble.  We see the ferociousness in some people and fail to recognize there is an evil spirit operating behind it.  The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”-Edmund Burke.  God responds to the prayers of His people for help and protection.  Christian virtue has been compromised, laws have been changed to benefit the elite and “Trumpism” has frightened the few who would otherwise stand up for right.  We may fail to recognize that this same pattern has operated in other places in history where evil triumphed for a period of time until God put it down.

The real test for the nation today is its choice between a Christians’ love of truth and its competing love of money that the enemy is using as a temptation to lead some toward evil.  If the Christian church is silenced or compromised, the power of God in man is weakened against the wicked, but God’s Sovereignty still prevails. The gates of hell shall never prevail against God’s church.  God will always have a ram in the bush or a remnant that He can motivate to respond.  We must stand up for truth.  In every situation, the Christian is expected to represent the will and voice of God to man and resist the rule of Satan.  When society or politics gets it wrong, the Christian community should stand up for the right.  The confusion we see in our society today is because the voice of God is not being upheld by true religious leaders and believers and the world are floundering.

The American settlers brought arms against their European rulers rather than accept authoritarian rule and they fought for personal autonomy and Christian liberty that could not be enjoyed under a state-run church.  Even though this statement may sound like support of the Republican agenda, it is not.  Satan only changed one of two words of God’s instructions to Eve and got her kicked out of the garden because he tries to closely imitate God.  It matters what God says and means by His words.  The Republicans claim God but then do things that conflict with His words.  They have always had a hidden agenda to promote whites while oppressing the rights of the black population.  They were prejudiced against equity in society and promoted white nationalism.   Designation of nations is the right of God alone (Act 13:19).  There is no nation designated by God as a white nation or a nation for people called white.   The people we call white are citizens or descendants of specific nation, whether England, France or Rome, etc.   The plot to establish a white nation born of hate is evidence of the enemy at work.  That is why the believer must know the Savior as an individual and not be totally dependent on group guidance.  The combined corruption of church and state lead to turmoil similar to that which proceeded the ruin of past nations.

There is a certain amount of ambiguity between the positions of Democrats and Republicans when it comes to Christian principles because neither party fully represents the Christian position or appears to have direction from God.  Where Republicans claim Christianity, favor the rich, are unlawful and prejudiced against foreigners; they fail the test.  Where Democrats promote near birth abortions, sexual permissiveness, and gender swapping; they have failed the test. Politics deals with carnal matters and is not a spiritual profession.  Christianity is heavenly work with a spiritual body and a divine head who is Christ.  This spiritual group is not led by voting but by the commands of the Lord.  If the faithful do not stand up as a moral standard to give spiritual guidance and stand against sin and tyranny; America’s confusion within religion, politics, and the economy will continue to be on a destructive path.

What is being debated as class division is really a subterfuge to disguise the real motivation of elitist’s greed for wealth and power.  We have to uncover the motivation behind many of the problems we face to reveal the face of the enemy, who is the devil.  Satan does not want to be identified for who he is because he has a lot of people deceived about who they serve. He pits people one against another because of the slightest differences: color, age, gender, material possessions, religion, and culture.  God teaches us to overlook physical attributes and see the spirit of people.  We must remember that there are two spirits (good and evil, God and the devil) at war for the control of man and country.  Where politics have blurred the lines between right and wrong, the faithful will have to discern good from evil in order to support the side of righteousness when casting a vote or making other important decisions.  Teaching discernment is the job of the church but many religious leaders have become politically correct or complicit by their silence.  The church was supposed to be the first line of defense as in the days of Moses protecting the righteous community and persuading them to be a loving community of people who follow Christ but too many churches have become secularized and operate as a mixture of religion and business.  We saw in Jesus’s demonstration at the temple, God’s concern about cleansing His house; but believers have a role too.  The House of God possesses His Spirit; and if His Spirit departs, so should the believers. “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord (Ps. 33:12).”   Confusion comes when a nation has compromised its moral leadership and aligned itself with the “Thief” who comes to steal, kill and destroy.

America’s compromise of the biblical principles taught by the Christian faith spread worldwide in the first century has led people to accept a false system based on the lust for wealth; and it has allowed that lust to come in and corrupt our whole society.  God blessed this nation because it stood up for righteousness and promoted the Christian faith as stated in Ps. 33:12.  Though some Americans do not want to be called a Christian nation, virtuous conduct is usually appreciated. Christians are a called out people who live in a fallen world.  Those nations that are ruled by totalitarians are not living out the life of Christ but live under bondage.  Christian life brings liberty.  America Christians have ushered in bondage to their faith by false doctrine about prosperity.  God’s way of blessing His people is falsely called sowing and reaping by ministers who tell church members to sow money in them for a greater monetary blessing.  This practice is now a national and international scheme like that of the buyer and sellers at the temple. Contamination of greed has reached all spheres of America life and diverted faith from Christian teaching.  Many people sitting in the pews are secular Christians rarely convicted of sin because religious leaders deliver soothing messages without conviction that keeps them in attendance and the church stable.  These members are content seeking the material wealth of the world rather than following Christ’s teaching in Mt. 6:33 to seek Christ instead and not be overtaxed with worry about material things.

With ministers preaching for hire and Christians satisfied with seeking material gain and worldly goals; the system has worked for years without much protest. The gospel should have led people to seek Christ’s word for salvation, healing, deliverance, and blessings.  It is being replaced instead with a system that teaches people they have a right to riches; and people are determine to have it even if they have to take it from someone else.  Apostle Paul warned in Gal. 5:15 about a system that would “bite and devour one another.”  Everyone is seeking their portion and some ministers are using exploitive acts against the weak and innocent to get their portion.  Churches that teach false doctrine lead people astray with false hope of riches and may cause them to give beyond their ability.  The German priest, Martin Luther, stood up against the Catholic Church leadership because it sold spiritual grace for money and corrupted the biblical system. People were allowed to skip God’s commands and receive the church’s favor for God’s grace if they paid a specified amount of money.  Martin Luther’s protest of the Catholic church corruption resulted in the liberty we have as protestant faith rather than Roman Catholic Church rituals. When Satan is given reign, the whole house is corrupted and the weak are oppressed while the strong rule with an iron fist.  Jesus came to deliver us from that.

Ordinary people can become heroes, as seen in recent news, not because they are stronger than others, but rather because they see the need to take a stand in the face of evil like Martin Luther did.  There are problem situations in all of our lives where people look elsewhere for help when they could be the one who stands up and makes the difference, like Gideon (Jg. 6:15) chosen to lead from the poorest of the poor tribes.  We all have a mission or purpose for living that seems bigger than us but keeping silent may be the missed opportunity to make a difference like Martin Luther or Gideon.  The troubles of this hour require every one of us to get involved in our environment because Jesus has already come in a flesh body to do His work in the earth and now He empowers us with the knowledge, opportunity and Holy Spirit to do our part to bring change.  Each one of us has a voice and gifts we can use to stand up and be counted or evil will overwhelm us one by one.  What tragedy have we seen where one Christian voice   could have made the difference between life and death.  Christ just needs a body to use for good.  We have also seen in our generation the damage one man can do for evil.  The devil works against every soul to bring compromise of ethics and destroy a life.  Christ has promised to back up those that will stand up and do what is right.  Jesus showed us the way to resist evil and do good through the example of His life and He commanded us to follow Him.  He does not require us to use anything that is not also made available to us.  The George Floyd murder trial revealed how important it is for each person to do his or her part to bring change. Every witness and prosecutor in the court case helped to bring about justice needed at that hour.  Every voice counted.

What To Do In Times of Darkness

What do you do when you come to the end of yourself and realize your inability to proceed?  One thing that prevents many people from doing the work of Christ is fear.  People often get to a place where they are fearful to move forward or do not know the next move.  That is the place where many people stop believing in Christ.  They did not know what to do at that point of little faith or when doubt came in. They feel that they cannot do what is required because they are not good enough, strong enough, smart enough or lack enough faith to carry it out.  They become disappointed that Jesus did not use His supernatural power to save them in that moment.  Jesus never asked us to do anything He has not given us the ability to do.  He was sacrificed on the cross to pay our penalty for sin so that we could have His righteousness and the blessings He earned through obedience.  That privilege becomes ours when we accept Christ’s sacrifice for us.  We then become heir to His blessings of strength, knowledge, faith, and love or whatever else is needed to carry out the assignment if we take the step of faith.  People often look at themselves, see their inability in the flesh and back down.  God wants us to see by faith His abilities to work in us to bring victory instead of being stumped by our inabilities.

My study of the great men and women of faith through history in the white churches has revealed some amazing stories of people like Smith Wigglesworth, an illiterate English plumber who had an international healing ministry.  Great faith movements were started by everyday believers who were faithful to God’s voice.  Their stories and examples paved the way for their descendants.  Their lives illustrated the devotion it took to walk close to God. Many Christians today want the glory without any sacrifice.  Some heroes of the faith never received recognition for their labor during their lifetime.  Other believers like Jonathan Edwards, John Wesley, George Whitefield, Charles Finney, and Smith Wigglesworth had ministries that exploded among the people.  Large audiences responded to their preaching of the gospel and a great awakening broke out in Europe and America.   During these times black and white people were ministered to and worshipped together.

A second Awakening broke out in the 1900’s in the black church that spread to the white community as well.  From that awakening the Pentecostal movement was birthed and many of today’s churches grew from it.  What started out in an interracial outpouring eventually broke off into separate black and white paths as human personalities caused division of the interracial worship services.  The founding of this Pentecostal Movement by a humble black man (William Seymour) did not seem to dissuade the white church from belief that black people were inferior to whites.  Discriminatory practices continued against black people by white Christian churches long after the 1906 Azusa Street Revival and Awakening.   The Azusa street remembrance and the birth of the Christian revival in this age have become primarily a white celebration of Pentecost.  Like so many blessings that have come to black people, white people have consumed the greater benefits for themselves and minimized the role of blacks played.  What has been called an attitude of white supremacy in whites is actually arrogance and greed for receiving the benefits and a fear of black liberty to speak up and regain autonomy.  It can be traced back to the white slave owner’s fear of slave uprisings on plantations.  This fear that is connected to guilt and is contrary to Christian faith appears to prevent them from accepting the Word of God or their founders’ pledge that all men are created equal and have unalienable rights to life, liberty and pursuits of happiness. Their fear causes them to turn from God’s will to do their own.  Calling their attitude white superiority only elevates a negative idea of superiority and should more rightly be called it what it is: white fear.  God has not given believers a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (2Ti 1:7 ).

I recall a time of being stuck in my Christian faith where someone helped me cross over the fear.  Jesus actually teaches us in scripture about this dilemma, but oftentimes we do not understand the symbolic nature of His teaching.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.  He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.  If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. Joh 12:24-26

Most people fear death so in a time of distress, they freak out and do something stupid.  Jesus came to deliver us from the “fear” of death and to prepare us to step into His presence if we should die.  Jesus actually taught that we cannot serve Him until we die—die to self.  Where most people are now is where they are doing the alternate thing because they got over into fear.  I know because I have been there but Jesus’ power showed up.  The bible teaches that we are in need of a teacher/preacher to help develop our faith in Christ.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  Rom 10:14

When we get to that dark place of fear, we need help.  When I got to that place, God had a preacher ready to help me cross over the prospect of the fear of death.  The preacher made the scriptures plain and delivered me from that fear.  When we are in fear, we need to know that we are not walking in love or faith and may have allowed sin to separate us from God’s presence. There is no fear in God and in His presence is the fullness of joy.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Ti 1:7

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Rom 8:15

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1Jn 4:18

I was able to cross over my time of fear because I believed what he said even though I have never actually met this preacher.  People heard of the ministry of Jesus and later of Peter whose ministry power they sought out.  The preacher that helped me was a white minister whom some called a prophet. The Spirit of God used this ministry to spoon-feed me faith.  I hung on to every word like someone starving, and I was.  It was the flicker of light I needed to move ahead.  Jesus promised that if we would seek, we would find (Mt. 7:7).  I kept searching for God and He kept responding.  Help does not always come the way we expect and that is the reason why it is important to be open and have discernment to recognize the Spirit of God however He comes.  And we all miss it from time to time.  Before I explain what he taught me, I want to address people where they are…when they are considering the easy way out.

When we get to that cross road, the devil will present a wrong path to take but Jesus has already prepared the right path if we just wait for it to materialize before us.  This may cause some discomfort while we wait but we should expect as Christians to be partakers of the Christ’s sufferings, (2Co 1:7).  People of faith have often heard it said by older saints in particular, “Wait on God”, but they may not have explained what that means.  What it means is when you get to that hard place, wait a little longer for God to show up and direct the way out.  Faith means I trust God.  Have no other alternative planned…but God.  He seldom comes when we want Him to, but He is never too late.  In many areas of life, we have seen the results of people who took the alternate route.  It is bad enough for you to take the wrong path, but it is worse to take others along with you in error.  That is where many people in America find themselves now; they followed a false leader into the wrong path.  Many of them are now in error and shame but determined to force their expectation to come true.

One half of the nation followed the evangelical community’s choice of a leader, a man who some called a cult leader or demigod; and the other half of the nation followed the opposite path.  In scripture, God gave warning; “And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them” (Elk 21:8). Jesus cautioned us to read His word, pray and hear His voice.  Spirit-led believers are warned of danger and directed in a different path.  Temptations will come from Satan and he uses people near or far to help him ensnare his victims.  Young seekers are often susceptible to error from cults or false religions but God knows how to protect those that love Him.  The devil does not care about your being religious; He can work with that.  If your heart is set on following Christ, the Spirit will always lead you to the next step in truth.  It is Jesus who calls and He knows how to care for His little ones.

Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein. Mar 10:15

The Spirit of God will reveal error in religious teachers too so that you know not to follow them. Some teaching may not be wrong but wrong for you at the time.  You may be too immature for that information and the Spirit may lead in another direction.  Babies need to drink milk until they are able to consume meat.  Strong meat is for the mature.  The Holy Spirit leads every individual believer.  In my journey, I was open and always looking for a preacher to teach me more.  The life of spirituality and faith was a totally new world.  Teaching can come from a preacher, books, other believers, or praying in the Holy Spirit.  What I did not know at that time was that I already had my primary Teacher, the Holy Spirit of God.  I was learning line upon line and precept upon precept, here a little and there little.  The Spirit of God had already taught me ahead of some of the preachers I sat under because I was in tune to the Spirit; and to remain would have been a stumbling block.  The scripture teaches us that God leads us to “green” grass and by the “still” waters.  Green grass is where we can be nourished and fed to grow.  By still waters is a place where He has lead us to dwell in safety.  We have to be ready and willing also when He is ready to pull us away from what may have become dangerous waters.  What I did not know in my early journey was that there were preachers who had taken the alternate path as well (Jer. 12:10).  Remember Jesus taught that the way to life is narrow and not many go that way. Jesus taught these lessons for our protection.  It is important to learn His voice.

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat 7:14

There are a lot of people on that easy road today. They may have stopped believing or stopped their personal search for Christ and just decided to sit in the pew to be spoon-fed the bible by a preacher.  Faith without works is dead being alone (Jas 2:17).  While listening to the preached word, we have to keep exercising our faith, moving forward and actively seeking and obeying the Lord.  That is where He meets us.

There are many leaders and church people that have taken that alternate path but Christ is available to lead us back home.  Peter foretold this in 2Pe 2:2 – “And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.” The Spirit of God will alert the true believer of lies and the road to error.

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Mat 7:13-14

Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Joh 16:13

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. Ps 32:8

The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. Ps 25:9

I believe many of this generation think that the bible, with its stories of people from thousands of years ago, is too antiquated for modern times.  The bible tells us stories about the consequences to people who chose to obey or disobey the morals of the Law and God’s instructions.  We see in scripture the blessings of God upon faithful Abraham and King David.  We also learn of the consequences that came upon them and their children when disobedient.  If we are paying attention to today’s news, we will see the bible being taught before our eyes through the fate of the evil rich, the faith of the weak, the rescue of the needy and the healing of the incurable.  The stories and lessons are all around us.

Recently I got weary and spiritually sat for a moment by the side of the road.  In my spirit I was saying, Lord, I am tired and I don’t feel like going any further.  My scripture reading and prayers were becoming distanced.  I still believed; but it was dormant faith.  I had been pretty strong throughout the pandemic; but I was putting off the next step that I knew to take and fell into a slump of procrastination. I justified that it was a slow time and maybe a good time to work on some non-spiritual areas of my life—carnal stuff. I wanted to redecorate, redo my wardrobe, and change my hair.  While tolerating those excuses, I remember listening to a video testimony of someone “on fire” for the Lord and it scared me when I thought this is how people drift back into carnality.  I immediately began to build up my faith.  That’s when I realized I needed to die to fleshly desires.  I thought to myself that I had already gone through that stage of my growth.  I remembered learning about dying to worldly and self-desires, but I needed to process it again in my heart.  I needed to repent of the sluggishness, laziness, lack of faith that I was tolerating and get up and get moving again. It had only been about two weeks but it felt like much more.  That was when I realized something about the state of our nation.  Many Christians don’t want to die…die to self.  I thought how churches got to a certain point and stopped in their spiritual progress.  Many people do not realize that their pastor cannot take them but so far and I believe pastors fail to tell that truth to their church members.   The spirit of God began to show me where I was and where I needed to go next in my journey.  I had allowed myself to have a dangerous pity party. Walking with the Lord is a choice.  It was a choice I had made.  The word brought me back to faith.  I had gotten stuck and, thankfully, my “Teacher” came along to show me the next step.

And the man said unto me, Son of man, behold with thine eyes, and hear with thine ears, and set thine heart upon all that I shall shew thee; for to the intent that I might shew them unto thee art thou brought hither: declare all that thou seest to the house of Israel. Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern. Ez 40:4-10

I was brought to remembrance that ministry is about showing people where they are in sin but then introducing them to the Savior. Some may know of my ministry and thought I was being particularly negative or even harsh (and I wondered too), but I now believe it was necessary and it was how the Spirit led me.  Remember Prophet Isaiah was scolded by the people for his harsh words.

Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Isa 30:10

Many preachers have been preaching smooth things to the church.  Perhaps the people had no tolerance for the truth but the preacher who is influenced by that endangers his or her own soul as well.   Our nation has been brought up with a particular ease and preachers have portrayed the receiving of Christ as if people could cross over from their life of sin without any consequences right into the ease of just loving Jesus and continuing on their merry way. White Americans have believed in a life of ease taught by white preachers who may have been living life on easy street.  The life Christ lived must be exhibited and taught.  Christians in foreign nations are suffering and American Christians cannot identify with their suffering because they have chosen to focus on self.

The Lord showed me how the white community has had an easier life as a result of the oppression of blacks. Consider for instance the lower wages blacks often receive in comparison the higher wages and privileges whites receive.  I have watched as the Lord opened certain doors and brought certain blessings to the black community but blacks being ill-prepared missed the opportunity and whites flooded in the void.  I also observed why blacks did not come into their blessings: both their faults and that of others.  White people insist on the best for themselves and blacks can have whatever they reject. One of the Old Testament prophets spoke to this and what God had to say about it.  God was watching and promised the evil done to the weak would be recompensed upon the wicked at a set time (Ez. 34:17).  During slave times, white slave owners slept on fine sheets under a good roof while the slaves had a one-room hut with dirt floors and a hard cot.  I spoke earlier about people choosing an alternate route because their way was too hard, inconvenient, confusing or fearful.  We all make choices every day and sometimes we may opt to take someone else’s grace or privilege for our comfort.  That is wrong.  Many pastors have taken the easy/alternate path and have lead many people with them like Peter said: “…many shall follow their pernicious ways…(2Pe 2:2).  Jesus said:  “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind.  And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Mt. 15:14). White people are determined not to lose no matter what they have to do.  People in Africa, Muslim countries, China and many non-Christian countries put their lives on the line when they accept Christ.  They know they will suffer when they become Christians but they do it anyway because they know they need Him.  Their lives become difficult but they hold on to Him.  White preachers teach a life of ease and of privilege; and as long as they can oppress blacks, they will have resources.  This is not just a trait of white people.  It is an evil spirit that is also revealed in relationships of male/female, employer/employee, rich/poor, adult/young, rich/poor.   Where the stronger can exploit the lesser, the unrighteous flesh will prevail because flesh always wants to please itself.  That is the nature of sin.

Americans basically have little or no concern for hardships when they accept Christ because many are not taught about suffering for Christ.  Americans receive many things the easy way.  Accepting Christ should dramatically change our lives as we give up the world and family, if necessary, to follow Christ.  I have had to change even since starting this message because of what the Spirit of God has shown me.

My assignment has been to disclose to the church what Jesus showed me.  Like Ezekiel, the Lord took me on a spiritual journey to show me what He saw in His church and in the world.  As I have said in so many parts of my testimony, the anger of the Lord scared me as He showed me His displeasure with His church.  I had read about the wrath of God but my experience was on another level because I was spiritually there.  I was tasked with showing people why God was so angry even though His thoughts are plainly written in the scriptures.  That was a difficult assignment because all the preachers I knew were preaching about how loving Jesus is and how He just wanted to shower them with His love.  Even though that is basically true, it is not the whole truth.  God sends rain on the just and unjust (Mat 5:45), but His showers of love is for His obedient children.  There is more than one side of God.  He is also a God of wrath.  God has promised to bless our obedience but He must also judge sin because He is a just God who requires holiness.  He was revealing to me a sinful nation that had to suffer the consequences of its sin if it did not repent.   When you walk in that ministry you understand the hurt of the Lord when people refuse to accept His grace.  The church has taught that Jesus took our punishment upon Himself and we do not need to worry about God’s wrath in the New Testament days.  What the church has often failed to teach is that many who believe they are Christ’s children may not indeed belong to Christ.  Remember the Sadducees and Pharisees had that misunderstanding of belonging to God, but Jesus correctly told them that God was not their Father.

Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. Lk 3:8

They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. Joh 8:39

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. Joh 8:44

As I was ministering on the sins of our nation, the heaviness that I brought to the people also became heaviness to me as well.  God requires us to know our sin and repent of our sin before we are accepted by the Lord.  You may remember me recounting how the spirit was revealing my slothfulness, laziness and lack of believing.  It was not easy to hear, but I needed to know where I had erred so I could repent, turn around and come back in line with the Lord.  No doubt about it; I was in the sin of unbelief.  I had fallen into a doubtful, state and I was slow in recovering.  No doubt about it too that I had some assigned help holding me down, but I allowed myself to sit in that pity party longer than I should have.  I mention this for the purpose of helping others to recognize this problem.  Many Christians refuse to acknowledge their sin when it is shown to them.  That is a dangerous place to be in.  Heaviness is a spirit that can fall upon anyone, but we fight the spirit of heaviness like anything else the devil sends.  Jeremiah came to that place, so did Elijah and Jonah. We have to realize, as I always known, the failure is never in God.  In my early days when I would run into a wall, I would always ask myself what did I do wrong and seek out the answer.  Of course, God was always ready to show me my error and I desired to do better because I did not want to be lost.  We may not be as quick to see ourselves as wrong when we get some age on us because pride can set in.  Christ says we must enter the kingdom as little children.   We have to maintain our zeal for the Lord even in our latter years.  We may fall into a time of disappointment or heaviness but God will never leave His children there.  As He came to Elijah, Jeremiah and Jonah in their times of discouragement; He will come to see about us too, but we have to respond when He calls.

Our nation, as a people who swore to obey God, is at a place where it must realize that it has sinned, realize what those sins are, repent of the actual sins and return to God.  America’s sins are being exposed one by one in the public eye.  There cannot be a blanket or random stated repentance that does not acknowledge that there were actual sins committed. How can you repent of something you cannot identify?  When there is true repentance, the spirit walks us through a stage of remorse, where we mourn.  How can you grieve something you are not aware of?  It is necessary that there is an awareness of the sin and why it was wrong while repenting of it.  Repenting requires confession in sorrow, restoration of the wrong done (where possible) and turning around from the wrong path to the right path.  That is why God told Ezekiel to show them their sins.  They had to know what they did.  Jesus teaches about settling ought with a brother and then bringing our gift to the altar (Mat 5:23).  It is about dwelling in peace and harmony with man and with God.  White America has to acknowledge the sin, name it, repent, restore or make right the wrong, receive God’s forgiveness and not do it again.  That is repentance.  It is not just a thought; it is an event.  God went on to say to Ezekiel that if they became ashamed of their sins then Ezekiel was to reveal to them their future blessings.

Our nation was led off course through false preaching over a course of many years but it became more obvious as the sinful behavior of Trump became known by all and became normal, shocking America and the world.  His habit of lying was endorsed by his staffer, Kelly Anne Conway, who introduced to us “alternative facts”.  Alternate facts she said was not a lie but just an alternative truth.  The media discussed and debated for a while what that meant.  They were reluctant to state these were in actuality “lies”, but by the time they did, others were repeated them.  Congressmen and other officials were repeated them in everyday conversation.  Media later disclosed that it was a journalistic practice to not say something was a lie.  In desperate times though, we have to use desperate measures.  The husband of Kellie Anne Conway, George Conway, began to give us the alternative version of Kellie’s comments and eventually she withdrew from the public stage of politics but the seed had already been sown.  Oftentimes the enemy will find a bold person to sow a seed that more passive people will join in with and reinforce it or vice versa.  The alternate facts evolved into straight up lying and the media began to call out the lies that have become strongholds. One source began to actually count the lies until they reached into the thousands. Jesus states that He is the truth and life so who is His alternative but the devil, the liar and deceiver who brings death?

Our nation is being brought knowledge of the depth of its sins so that it might acknowledge that sin, repent, and receive forgiveness.  The truth had to be told in such a way that people heard and realized it as truth. The Truth is the Word of God written in the bible and that Word made flesh in Jesus Christ, who came to atone for your and my sins.  When we come to Him our sin is redeemed by His blood.  Old Testament believers had priests and scribes that regularly read and discussed the word; but when the people went astray and became hardened in heart, God would raise up a prophet with stern words to address their sin.   The prophet was told to not regard the faces of the people but press forward to deliver the truth.  There is a grieving for sin that our nation must experience and God has been trying to get our nation to the place where it is sensitive enough in heart through sorrow and weariness, to mourn its sin and repent.  Through hardship and death, we grieve because of the heaviness that often makes the heart break and become sensitive enough to hear God speak.  God, help us to break.  There is a type of death that the nation must experience before it can go on to the next chapter God has prepared for it. However, if it does not repent, the hardness we see in some of our people will turn to rebellion and the next step is destruction.  Do not be deceived, God will harshly judge sin.  For those who would quarrel that He already judged sin in Jesus, that is true; but only if your sin is appropriated on that cross through your sorrowful confession to Jesus.  If that has not happened, then you carry your own sin and it must be punished.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.  Joh 3:18

One of the biggest sins our nation has perpetrated is the sin of slavery.  Evangelical ministers say America’s worst sin is abortion.  Abortion is wrong and murder is wrong.  Both occur as a single act and have been going on since the beginning of time.  Jesus sacrifice is for forgiveness of sin.  God deals with iniquity differently.  Iniquity is gross unfair behavior, a perversion of the truth.  It is premeditated and planned and passed down from one generation to another.  God deals with iniquity in the third or fourth generation of an evil, unrepentative people. Enslavement is an ongoing expression of hatred where there is time to repent, show compassion and cease the action.  To continuously put our fellow man to the cruelest physical punishment requires a type of hardness of heart that shows lack of the love of God.  That type of cruelty God hates and remembered to punish in the Amorites. He lays it up for the third and fourth generations of those that hate Him.  Jesus taught us to love our neighbor but He also taught us about subtle types of hatred.

Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:  But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire. Mat 5:21-22

For those who still debate whether or not slavery was wrong (and there is plenty of biblical proof), this scripture shows us that even being angry without a cause would bring judgment and evil speaking could reap hell fire.  How much worst hate is enslavement, destroying families, branding and torturing a slave’s body than speaking evil to him?  Remember the measuring stick is love.  In this chapter, Jesus is talking about the state of one’s heart.  His teaching compares an eye of darkness with an eye of light.  In the next chapter, He states: “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Mt. 6:24).  The two masters mentioned above is God or Satan (mammon/wealth).  Slavery was carried out for the love of money (mammon/wealth) or service to the god of hate. Jehovah God is love but the devil is the god/author of hate, evil and torment.  We cannot claim to be a child of love serving God while also being a child of the hater/Satan and destroying the soul of our neighbor.  We have to own up to the truth to be delivered.  When the heart gets to the place where it can no longer confess sin, it is hopelessly lost.

Even though today’s white America may say they did not personally commit the sins of slavery, they will have to acknowledge that their fathers did and that the present requirements to love demands so much more than what they have shown black people in this generation.  Even if past generations honestly did not know whether or not slavery was wrong, this generation certainly knows because it has been made plain to them.  It is true we are not judged for our parent’s sins but for our own. Yet Jesus spoke of the sins of prior generations being added to that of their evil children and that wrath being poured upon them.

Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Mat 23:34-35

Believers today have much more knowledge than our parents and we have greater grace to love our enemies because of that knowledge to overcome the sins that caused our parents to stumble.

Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: Rom 5:20

With sons continuing in the sins of their fathers, God considers the generational sin as iniquity and the curse increased upon the children.

Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.  God layeth up his iniquity for his children: he rewardeth him, and he shall know it. (Job 21:7-8; 19)

Prior and present treatment of black people by white Americans are a big stumbling block in America.  Racial issues continue to arise in America because the sin has not been resolved and it will never lie at rest until it is.  White people may be amazed at the anger of today’s black youth about slavery when they have never been a slave but they should consider how much they themselves are like their parents or ancestors.  Science has proven that we carry the same DNA as our ancestors. The blood in our veins can be traced back to the countries where our ancestors lived.  People often develop our parent’s diseases. As white people continue in their parent’s sin, it only increases the eventual penalty upon the children at some point as Job 21:19 relates.  This is not the only sin that America must deal with but it is a sin that runs the gamut of American history and one that impacts on every aspect of the daily lives of black people.  Blacks have been denied the benefits of America’s liberty and hindered from enjoyment of Christ’s liberty and benefits.  Love of neighbor is God’s commandment.  God has given me spiritual insight to see many deceptive practices that whites continue to work against the black community.  If He showed it to me that means He is watching and weighing it.  The evil one uses subtlety (redlining and gerrymandering) to oppress a people while bringing mental and emotional harm and hindrance to prosperity.  If God is weighing these actions, it is important that America realize that it will also eventually be judged. There is no denying that the black population and other ethnic groups are responsible for obtaining  their own blessings from God and can be hindered by their own sin but God forbids other people serving as a stumbling block in someone else’s way.

I want to come back to the subject mentioned earlier about when we come to the end of ourselves and the choices we make.  There comes a time in our life when we may feel like we are at our weakest point, where death is imminent because of the harshness of the test or some other reason, consider Elijah, 1Ki 19:4).  This is not a time to give up on everything, but it is a time to give in to Christ.  It is a time or crossroad where we have to make a decision about Jesus.  You might remember the story of Joseph where in a great time of trouble he wrestled with a man in the night who turned out to be an angel. The wrestling was to strengthen him for the ordeal he was about to encounter with his brother. It was not intended to kill him or he would have died in the fight with God’s angel.  God met him and strengthened him before he had a chance to wimp out of his meeting with an angry brother he had wronged.   He came out of the midnight fight with a new zeal and a new name (Gen 32:28).  From that point forward Jacob was called Israel.  Making the wrong decision puts one on the path to being used by the enemy.  I believe we are seeing some of our public figures who have made the wrong choice.  Their dispositions illustrate that the love of God is missing and they seem led by some force that is not God.  We owe them our prayers for several reasons: they are men made in the image of God and we are commanded to pray for those God loves and whom make decisions concerning our lives and we do not want to see anyone go to hell.  They need Jesus, too.

In conclusion, the minister’s viewpoint at the scene of the crime was right.   Inner turmoil often is a result of sin.  Joseph had to wrestle with his past and then choose a path to travel.  All of us do.  None of us have lived a perfect life and at some point we have to come to grips with the sins we have committed.  The darkness of the night reveals our strength and weaknesses; but where there is great sin there is also great grace.  The righteous are delivered from the darkness.  “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all (Ps 34:19).”  Paul sums up such times:  “Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong (2Co 12:10).” We often believe things about ourselves that are not true, but when the test comes, it reveals who we really are.  What is important is making the right decision when Jesus appeals to us in the test.  Will we run and hide like Adam and Eve did only to be caught eventually and disciplined by God for the sin and the lie or will we own up to our sin and repent, like David?  King David received punishment for his sin, but he went on to be a good king, one after God’s own heart.  God is faithful and just and will forgive all our sin and heal us of all unrighteousness if we confess our sin.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.   1Jn 1:9

God is a loving Father who will train up and guide His children all the way from infancy to maturity.  His goal is to help us, not destroy us.  God will not let His children fall.  We can trust Him. What is God’s purpose in allowing us to experience these times?

… but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. Rom 5:3-5

Unfortunately, too many preachers have led believers to take God’s forgiveness for granted or believe He looks over sin and only desires to bless us with more good things.  Good fathers know how to train up their children with teaching, discipline and rewards according to their behavior.  The good shepherd uses the staff and the rod to manage his sheep.  Sin must be dealt with in the just and the unjust.  Moses’ sin was punished and so was David’s. God requires sin be put to death and our sin is done away in Jesus.  We must remember that even in the forgiveness of Jesus, there may be consequences to pay.  David was forgiven of his adultery with Bathsheba, but the child conceived in sin still died and David was heartbroken.  Jesus came to take sin to the cross and crucify it so that we could come to God without the stain of sin.  He was crucified one time for the forgiveness of sin in both the just and the unjust but only those who accept Him receive the forgiveness.  God is rising up a family that must be properly trained and disciplined before they can bring glory to His name.

America claims to be a city sitting on a hill and an example for other nations but it is being revealed as having the same sins as other nations it has criticized or tried to help.  That is why there must be someone who can hear God and tell America her sins lest she be put away like other fallen nations. Preachers and pastor seeking wealth cannot be that voice.  God rises up His prophets for this mission.  Preachers and pastors must be corrected before they can teach the people or the same sins will be repeated.  Envy is a sad trait to have but it seems that America at long last has revealed her desire to be an authoritarian nation.  The rich want to lord over the poor, businessmen want to exploit their customers, the government wants to administer power in favor of friends, and preachers want to serve God for riches.  Teachers or preachers must first learn the lesson before instructing others to be an example and testimony that brings glory to the Father.  Preachers should only preach their testimony (what they have overcome).   King David was not perfect or without sin but he had a spirit of excellence and would repent and turn back to his Father when his sin was revealed.  The question today is not how much sin we have committed but whether we are indeed children of God in good standing or in need of repentance.  We all need to examine our walk from day to day, lest we slip and become a castaway.

But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.  1Co 9:27

Our nation has proven not to have learned the lessons we seek to teach others.  The racial problems are a particular embarrassment because of the grace and bounty God has given white Americans who fled Great Britain and other places for the liberty of this nation.  There is no excuse for the hoarding and selfishness we see in the elite. America is a nation born from a flight from past arrogance and autocracy of European elites.  Only after one dies to self, will God allow one to be an instrument to instruct others.  Leaders, who do not obey, bring a reproach upon God because leadership represents God, who loves all people.  Evil leadership is a reproach to a loving God and He will judge it.  This writing concluding on the 4th of July is also being released during the same period when America should see the mockery of celebrating their freedom from oppression while oppressing others, blacks, Asians, immigrants, and others.  The weekend of this writing is also a week when America is dealing with coming out of a pandemic only to have a variant of the disease come that is worse.  It is also in this week seeing a fire in the ocean from an oil spill, still reeling with the results of an insurrection against its capitol building and fearing another incident, dreading the imposition of an old president threating to retake his office by force, a loss of possibly 150 people crushed under a fallen condominium in Florida and having to tear down two remaining condominiums nearby while under threat of oncoming Hurricane Elsa. These difficult times should help some so-called Christians figure out if their faith is real.

Some false leaders and their deceptions have been exposed during our difficult trial.  Religious leaders are those who are supposed to be an earthly example for the people of how to live holy.  Their light and teachings are supposed to show believers the way.  At this hour, we are seeing a lot of clergy error and sin being exposed on the national stage.  It is good that we see hypocrites exposed to spare the innocent believers.  Some have been shown to be operating on the other team.  God, of course, rules the world but there is a disobedient spirit in the land who competes with the Sovereign God and proposes an alternative to the truth.  The originator of all lies has deceived and enlisted foot soldiers who are foolish enough to try to establish an alternative system and world where they can overthrow God’s rule and take control.  The boldness of Satan and his followers have shown up in religion, politics, business and community leadership but it is being dealt with by the Almighty God who has Sovereignty over all the power of the earth.  The troubles we have seen in the atmosphere through bad weather, disease, political turmoil and economic problems are outward expressions of God’s displeasure with disobedient behavior.  Moses and the children of Israel were warned that God’s response to disobedience would show up in the elements of the earth and the book of Amos outlined similar problems  As time has passed, it seems later generations have forgotten God’s word, but God’s word is still true and still governs our behavior.  Just as I have had to review the crime scene in my life and be reminded of what God has said, so must every person on the earth be brought to remembrance that there is an expectation the God of heaven has for our obedience to His commandments or we will suffer the consequences of His wrath?  It is unfortunate that a large majority of our national leaders do not know God or serve in a godly fear.

In the darkness, the real self comes out and our darkness is revealed.  Once it is exposed we can no longer deny the darkness but must confront it.  We have to make the decision whether to keep it or let it go and receive God’s gift of love in its place.  White people need to realize their attitude of superiority is wrong and let it go.  Theirs is not the only sin that need to be repented but it is such a big sin that is being used to oppress the least of us because of their control of the power, wealth and resources of the land.  God is showing the white community their prejudice but too many are talking about repenting without repenting. We all need to repent and serve God, whether black, white, blue or polka dot.  The devil uses lack of resources such as food, housing, jobs, friends or family to tempt many in the underclass with things, resources and lifestyles he offers to meet their immediate need.  That was the temptation Satan offered to Jesus before the commencement of His ministry and it is a common temptation to all men: a supply of our need without waiting on God, the Father, to supply it in His own time and way. Jesus taught us to give bread to the hungry.  Hunger for bread should not be the temptation that keeps people from God because Jesus taught us to feed him. God uses our hands to feed the hungry, clothe the naked and minister healing to the sick so that they in turn bless God for His goodness.  Our life is full of temptations, but God forbids men and hold them accountable for being a stumbling block in the lives of others.  So regardless of who you are, let the darkness expose your sin, recognize it, then let it go and accept Christ.

We Are the Light

Jesus taught His disciples that all ten of the commandments are fulfilled in the performance of the two New Testament Commandments that require us to love God and love our fellow man.  The greatest problem we are having in America today is a lack of love.  It is God’s Commandment to Christian believers.

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.  By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Joh 13:34-35

White Americans who first came to take up possession of this land and who overthrew the Native Americans now demand preservation of this land for white people only and they want to exclude foreigners of any kind who they consider inferior to them.  That, in itself, is an expression of hate and pride.  It is not an expression of Christian love or even an example of human compassion. They so clearly have failed to learn the lesson of the bible and have forgotten the grace God showed them in their plight to escape European bondage.  God allowed them to escape their European oppression and come to liberty in this land.  In their immediate peril of death from starvation and disease, God allowed the Natives of the land to show them how to survive off of the land.  The original kindness of the Natives to the settlers was reciprocated with the exploitation of the Natives by the settlers who pushed them off their land.  Agreements the settlers and government made with the Natives for sharing the land were broken.  Their descendants’ response has been to hide the wrong and lord over every other ethnic people. The treatment of the Natives in the land is an example of the same type of reckless abuse they claimed to have suffered from their European leaders.  They wanted to escape from that kind of abuse but they duplicated it and did even worse than their European examples when they made slaves of the Indians and Africans.  The settlers did not want to pay tax on English tea but they worked the Indian captives and the African slaves without any wage.  The settlers wanted to worship God without the state-controlled church but yet they forced their religion and ways upon the slaves and gave them reason to curse rather than bless the God they claimed to serve. Later they taught lies to the slaves about God’s word to make them submit.  They had failed to learn the lessons of love required by the God they claimed to serve.

While we watched the leadership of this nation for four years try to lead all white citizens to join in expulsion of every ethnic people from America similar to the acts of Germany’s Adolph Hitler, most of us thought Trump’s behavior was strange and cruel.  Actually he was only doing in the light what white Americans have been doing in the dark for generations to oppress weaker Americans of ethnic background.  While they deny that this is true, they are even now secretly revoking laws intended to support equal rights for all Americans.   I believe God is pulling the cover off their hypocrisy and doctrine promoted as white supremacy to reveal their original sin to them before the nation and world, but the arrogance of the white majority denies this realization.  What many have called white supremacy should more rightly be called white fear because their actions are based on their fear of black retaliation. Their over purchase and insistence on guns as well as their unashamed endorsement of the NRA amidst a multitude of mass shootings all support this fact.   True Christians should acknowledge what God says that all people come from the same lineage of Adam and Eve, are made in the image of God and have equal worth.

When people become an exact thing they formerly claimed to have hated in the past, it is time to wake up and smell the coffee.  America’s sin and wrong choices have become so obvious to all.  The white church’s failure to uphold Christian standards is disgraceful because they now have the Word of God.  The troubles that America cannot solve are a shaking to awaken her to the knowledge of sin and prompt repentance.  Their true repentance will make a real difference!

The original promises of the Founding Fathers formed a noble plan that they did not have the full ability to carry out because they did not have a fuller understanding of God’s word.  The Founding Fathers had competing and conflicting opinions of the bible and God.  Some of them were deists or placed their trust in human reasoning. They had many divisions over the process of doing things and broke off into several divisions and subdivisions of the original plan.  For instance Anglicans, Mennonites and Quakers refused to support the American Revolution War.  Some of these Americans who would not fight in the war were tarred and feathered by so-called “Patriots.” Contrary to the relative peace America has known internally since the Revolutionary War, the early Americans were a rambunctious bunch full of conflict and fighting.  Someone recently said that these have always been a violent people. A read through early American history would be an eye-opener for many Americans today because many have forgotten America’s true history.  Discussions of slavery and the rights of African Americans have always been a source of debate and fighting in the nation.  The citizens of this nation attended public hangings of black people with family and friends like it was a town picnic.  A lot of moral teaching and leadership came from the town preachers but these were also the same people who distorted the scriptures to the church and the slaves.  In Europe before the American colonies were set up, European evangelism brought revival and abolition of slavery; but Americans continued in it for another hundred years.  The national liberty and enlightenment of America gave the people so many opportunities to learn and carry out the true scriptural meaning of freedom and acknowledge that God really did create all cultures of mankind as equals.  God is love and our love reveals that He is our Father.

The Concept of Christian Leadership

The Christian principles of love taught by Christ and practiced by millions of Christians in America should have brought about a merging of cultures and respect for neighbors who differ; but it has not.  The nature of the early settlers that caused them to exploit others to gain wealth and power still remains in the heart of Christian Americans.  American Christians were taught in churches that they had a right to the blessings of God because they were Christians and they were taught to give money to God and expect to receive blessings in return.  The spirit of privilege or expectation of only good coming to the believer as taught by many church leaders is false doctrine.  Jesus never taught an expectation of great riches and only good outcome from faith.  Jesus told His disciple about His crucifixion before it happened and He told Peter about his own death in advance.  Jesus taught in John 10 about the troubles the believers would experience among false believers and teachers. Jesus lived a life of work, difficulties and challenges while he walked the earth but He always had help from God.  They often needed bread in His ministry; but they believed God for it and it was provided.  People gave Jesus money for ministry because they saw His good works of healings and miracles and God gave Him favor with people.  They did not give Him money because He talked pretty but because He healed the sick, raised the dead, worked miracles and showed people the way to life. Jesus worked for God and God saw to His needs.  The disciples of Christ were often persecuted and had hardships while they ministered for Christ but God met their daily needs while they did His work.  We do not see in scriptures their focus on receipt of earthly rewards of gold, silver or wealth.  They believed their wealth was laid up in heaven and was a more sure reward to be received from the Master.  Listen to what Jesus taught about wealth:

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Mat 5:3-6

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:  For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.  Mt 7:7-8

And Jesus looked round about, and saith unto his disciples, How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God!  Mar 10:23

Jesus taught that we should ask for our needs, pray for healing and deliverance and that God would supply our needs.  He cautiously warned us about the love of money and seeking wealth.  He also told us in advance about persecutions that would come and that the believer’s life would involve suffering for His name sake.  Riches were never forbidden by Christ but it was also not guaranteed as a reward for service in the earth.  Christ and the other disciples pointed to great rewards laid up in store for them and in heaven.  Preachers that point to their riches in the earth for service to God are putting forth a false hope because riches in the earth are not promised by Christ.  Jesus came to preach about spiritual life and the kingdom of heaven.  Apostle Paul later taught how the spirit and the flesh warred one against the other.  Jesus described hirelings as preachers who were not really concerned about the souls of the people.

But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.  Joh 10:12

False teaching in Christianity has been the ruin of the nation of America in the twenty-first century.  In prior centuries where believers expected to work and earn their pay by labor before the preaching of “get rich quick” prosperity message; there was more respect for one’s neighbor and people believed God would bless them for doing good deeds as the scriptures state.

Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Today’s preachers preach that material things are evidence of the favor of God and you receive them by giving money to the preacher.  No one wants to be thought of as someone that God doesn’t love being evidenced by a life of bareness. So the false teaching resulted in a competition among brethren to get wealth and provide evidence of God’s favor to flaunt as proof of God’s love.  This false message has caused division and made people run after material things to prove they are favored and prosperous.  It caused envy, strife, greed and jealousy to surface among Christians as everyone wants stuff as proof that they are blessed.  Ministers have used money as a motivator in church rather than devotions to Christ.  The love of money, which Christ denounced, became the goal and evidence of obtaining successful Christianity.  They turned the truth into a lie.

History records a spiritual complacency and disillusionment in Europe around the 18th century and how a longing and hunger for God started the Great Awakening.  European evangelists like John and Charles Wesley, Sarah Crosby, George Whitefield brought conviction to the British that started a revival that eventually spread to the English colonies in America. While the revivalists stirred the revival among the American colonists, the colonists were also talking about the upcoming the Revolutionary War.  Many preachers stopped focusing on the revival though and started focusing more on the revolution.  (That same mindset is being revealed with white evangelicals today who are more focused on nationalism and suppressing blacks to promote a white nation than their identity with Christ.)  The biblical stories of Israel at war gave the settlers their justification for their battle against Britain.  The settlers wanted to come to the new land to be free to worship God according to their own beliefs. The Founding Fathers envisioned that religious freedom should allow all people to worship according to their belief  The Puritan society established criteria that people had to meet to become part of their voting and religious citizenship. The Puritan were a theocracy.  The Puritans then were much like the white community today that want to establish their own society or nation for their own kind according to their own beliefs. Those that are true Christians should be able to recognize that this is religious error and a deception by Satan.  Much like the early settlers and the Puritans, they are willing to go to war to live separate with their beliefs.  It appears to be the American way.  Though it may be the way of some people, it is not God’s way or the Christian way.  The devil has no problem giving people a religion similar to that of Christ that is fleshly and based on selfishness. He is an imitator of Christ and his ways are deceptive and false. The Holy Spirit living within a believer knows the difference.

The concept of Christianity birthed in the lives of the early Christians illustrated sharing, caring and enjoying fellowship together.  It also had at its core a concept of leadership that excelled in understanding the ways of Christ that would be leaders and teachers for others.  The next generation should have built on the success of their ancestors until the people had progressed forward.  Leadership should consist of those who have excelled in Christian love and can be examples and promoters of goodwill in society.  When leaders become people serving themselves and promoting their own wealth as we see today in Congress and through the past 45th president, it creates a hostile environment where everyone is for self and we become a world of thieves looking for vulnerable victims.  Where we are today has little to do with providing a good day’s work for a good day’s pay but it is more about a lust for wealth that excludes ethics.  Merchants pedal merchandise that is substandard and refuse to make reconciliation.  Retailers have become scam artists getting wealthy off of selling inferior products and have little worry of repercussions.  We had leaders in 2020 who reached power without accountability because the people’s voice was silenced and evil reached the highest levels to advance people like themselves.

We have all heard the warning:  judge not lest you be judged; and it is a true bible scripture and teaching.  There is, however, a discernment that God gives His children to use that requires examination and determination.  In the pasture, someone has to be willing to cry wolf to warn others.  We are expected to recognize and beware of the devil’s work.  Someone said that we are not judges but fruit inspectors.  The type of fruit reveals the tree it came from.  You may remember the scripture where Jesus called out Satan’s work in Peter as Jesus was revealing His destiny to go to the cross (Mat 16:21). The devil was trying to dissuade Jesus from fulfilling His destiny but Jesus called out the lie and rebuked the devil.  Jesus was able to complete His destiny because He did not tolerate the devil’s interference in God’s plan.  The Old Testament prophets attacked sin head on by speaking the truth to corrupt leaders.  John called out Herod’s sin and the apostles rebuked devils in high and low places and won territories for Jesus.  Preachers would be negligent if they did not teach believers how to recognize evil workers.  Even parents warn their babies of danger and what not to go near.  Ministers are those called out representatives of Christ whose job is to rebuke the devil and his work so that the people can be free.  Believers and the church as a whole should be continuing the work of Jesus in the earth to help establish the kingdom of God.  White American missionaries have gone to other nations to do charitable work while overlooking much poverty and revolving crime right here at home. Jesus brought peace and healing at home first.  Foreign mission work is to be applauded, but charity must start at home with loving one’s neighbor as the fulfillment of the commandments.  Showing simple love at home is an obtainable goal for all people and fulfills the basic of what God requires.   Jesus proclaimed that witnessing and mission work was to start at Jerusalem and then move abroad.  The abundance of Christian churches and status of love in the nation of America proves something went awry.  Those that should have received Christian ministry and help which includes the poor, prisoner, the sick, and oppressed, are the ones protesting their neglect in American streets and are a witness against America’s Christian profession.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 1:8

We observe that Jesus did his work in His own neighborhood.  He left His baptism and started witnessing to the fishermen along the way.  He recruited neighbors to join the ministry and He healed neighbors first.  Jesus lived the example He wanted us to follow.  The first disciples after Jesus’ resurrection, preached to Jews until instructed by Jesus to go to the gentiles.  The protests and uprisings we see in America are because either Christians have not won the mission field at home before going abroad or they chose to stop loving their neighbors at some point.  Love is very visibly missing in the American experience today. Evidence is showing up everywhere and churches are failing to produce this love while it is focused on wealth and white nationalism.  The complete failure of the Christian experiment in America was revealed in the joining of some of the most notable Christian leaders with criminal elements and the most corrupt president that America has ever known for the purpose of white nationalism and greed.  It was a matter of the moral guardians lowering the walls so the wolves could come in and devour the people.  Jesus described this scenario in John Chapter 10 where He compared His faithful ministry to that of the false prophets and hirelings.

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.   But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. Joh 10:1-2

The freedom that America has boasted about throughout its history and the ease of obtaining biblical truths should have provided every citizen an opportunity to know the truth of God’s word and to choose the right path.  Americans will have no excuse before God for not getting saved and doing the work of God with the widespread distribution of the gospel message.  Joshua said:

And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Jos. 24:15

Preachers are called to establish God’s kingdom principles in the earth so that equal enjoyment of God’s benefits can be experienced by all of God’s children.  The work of Satan must be pulled down for liberty to prevail and the kingdom of God to be enjoyed.  Satan has usurped authority in many homes, communities, states, providences and nations around the world.  Those are the areas believers must fight to set the captives free.  God has clearly shown us that the same sins exercised in individuals can be found in leaders over governments that we are told to honor.  False teachers and leaders have infiltrated our nation in churches, politics and government that are creating havoc against the Judeo Christian standards.  As wrong as the insurrection was in our culture, we do need a pulling down of wicked leaders in Congress and throughout our society. The unlawful operating in leadership positions cannot enforce just behavior for peaceful operation of society. Elijah showed us that the whole of society needs cleansing when leadership is being led by false gods.  Jesus at the temple (Joh 2:16) showed us God’s concerned for a church that has become secular.  Paul showed us how preachers must deal with sin in the congregation and idol worship in the community (1Co 10:1-22).  We do need to clean house, but there is a right and wrong way to do it.  The January 6 insurrection was wrong because America has many organized systems established to remove corrupt leaders and the run on the Capitol was not it.  Again, the unlawful cannot correct the unlawful.  Jesus Christ ordained that the righteous would pull down unrighteousness.  As a nation established on laws, we have laws to deal with the unlawful.  The problem though is that unlawful leaders are promoting unlawfulness at every level.  Christians are supposed to handle issues within the church and the lawless are supposed to be dealt with by the legal authorities of providence. How is the church and political leaders handled when ungodly?  It is God who establishes authorities over providences.  Samuel as a prophet and judge ruled over Israel but when the people insisted on a worldly leader or king, God gave them a king. God removed Saul for disobedience and established King David.  The Old Testament shows God establishing good kings over His people and pulling down evil ones until Shiloh came reigning as an eternal king in righteousness.  An important theme that ran through the Old Testament was that God gave the people the king they deserved.

For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.  But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. Psa 75:6-7

All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. Psa 75:10

The bible tells the ways of God and how He deals with the good and the evil.  Scripture relays how God will respond in various ways and Christians disregard these lessons at their own peril.   The Republican Party claims to be the moral party and yet displays conduct contrary to the bible.  The leader they chose for president is more like the personality of Saul than that of David and the two leaders in scripture dictated their own destiny and legacy.  The lesson speaks for itself as we examine the lawlessness found in the last administration and that which is trying to return.  The lawlessness performed in the past four years by white Republicans in Congress, the White House and white churches do not represent the ways of God.  The plot of white leaders to overthrow American leadership so that they could bring about enough chaos to institute their own kind of leadership was supported by nationwide Christian church leaders.  It was a coup for power and wealth.  It was the same enactment as that of the rulers of their homelands where white monarchs often pitched blood against blood for the power of the throne.  America’s thrones are the three branches of government:  White House, Congress, and the Supreme Court.  Republicans had the White House, took over the Supreme Court and Congress was already ruled by a majority of white Republicans backed by white wealthy Republican businessmen.  White Americans wanted to turn the clock back to slavery times or duplicate apartheid South Africa.  American white leadership has given us poisoned waters, poisoned land, a poisoned gospel, poisoned minds, a narcissistic president, a broken government, attacks against ethnic citizens and jeopardy of losing our democracy.  Their leadership is corrupt but they refuse to relinquish authority.  They want to rule by force even though God has proven that He is not leading them.  The plot for an Apartheid America has been exposed.  God has called foul on white rule and now righteous citizens must pray to God for a righteous nation and stand up to vote in righteous leaders.  God will give us the America we deserve whether good or evil based on our behavior.

Before the population exploded in the earth, God gave His commandments to man and his family.  From those instructions the earth was to be populated in obedience through children and systems that would honor God.  We have systems that stand as lord over people and families are broken and instructed that there is no heavenly Father.  An alternative life is trying to replace the God-life we started out with.  Jesus showed us that this was the work of evil men and evil spirits that we should overthrow by the power of God.

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.   2Co 11:14

Jesus has come and sacrificed Himself on the cross for sin so that we could repent and have a chance as individuals to be saved from an evil world and walk in the right path.  The nation of America birthed the idea that every man, woman and child should have freedom to know and serve God as an individual.  Now every individual has a voice to stand up for righteousness and white people want to claim they represent God but use an authoritarian voice to rule over non-whites. Believers have to reject this ungodly spirit.  God has given every believer the power to put down the rule of the evil one in his own household and to organize help to bring a change in the nation.  Change often starts with one person standing up to make a difference.   Peter, full of the Holy Ghost, first stood up to identify the Holy Spirit and to authorize and witness the power of God moving for them.

For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.  But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: Act 2:15-18

From twelve apostles, the whole world was taught the miraculous gospel of Jesus Christ and given the life changing power of the Holy Ghost to affect the world with love.  We each now can have available the power of God to effect a change in the world starting with our own soul and family.  Every generation must lift up the gospel truth to fight against the lies and deception of the devil, regardless of what form it may materialize in.  Evil unchecked waits at the door for opportunity to come in and rule.  It is not a matter of a white devil or a black devil.  It is not a matter of a Democrat or a Republican.  It is a matter of a devil that uses white against blacks, blacks against whites, Democrats against Republicans and Republicans against Democrats male against females, and autocrats against citizens.  In America where it started out with the original sin of slavery, the devil is using that prejudice as a sledge hammer to destroy the nation.  White people are not superior to black people.  Only in America where the devil was allowed to run rampant against black people and make them slaves based on their skin color was this lie elevated to be the foundation of a nation.  The devil is fighting against this oppressive power being uprooted and threatening to take black people backward.  The fear is evidence of the victory to come and blacks need to push even harder.  The truth must be received by all people whether black, white, yellow, red or blue, whether Democrat or Republic, whether male or female, and whether authority or citizen.  Oppression cannot be tolerated by a people who call themselves Christians and believers must not sit under or tolerate pastors who teach or tolerate such a lie.  We must stand up for the truth Jesus taught or lay down with Satan. We must be aware that the devil will always try to strike up a compromise rather than being forced out: “So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine (Mat 8:31).”  Jesus had to rebuke His closest disciple who was influenced by the devil to try to stop the work of the cross:  “But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men (Mat 16:23).”   Total deliverance requires a kind of boldness that will not accept compromise.   Jesus gives us that boldness.  If we compromise the devil will come back again and again and that is why black people keep fighting the same fight.  The devil will wear any disguise to pull off his evil intentions of destruction.  We must identify his work and pull it down in righteousness.

The first battle we see Jesus in after the Holy Spirit came upon Him was a one-on-one fight with Satan.  The devil tried to destroy Jesus’s ministry before it started.  We see how Jesus used the same power available to us to defeat the devil and proceed with His ministry work.  Jesus relied on the Word of God to defeat Satan’s temptations.  We have the same power available to us.  We can stand on the word, too.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Lk 10:19

Jesus spoke powerfully to the devil that was using Peter, His closest disciple, but evil operates under many disguises that we must identify and defeat:

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Mat 16:23

Jesus had come to earth to give men the power of the Holy Spirit to live holy and defend themselves against the devil but Satan was not after that kind of power.  He wanted another kind of power to gain wicked rule over people and kingdoms.  Those that are following Satan’s commands are seeking that same kind of power.  They want to rule over the minds of men, rule over kingdoms of men and use wealth to establish themselves as lords.  We have actually had a preview of men in our day that established power and had a chance to see how they used it.  They were the Enron’s, Bernie Madoff’s, Harvey Weinstein’s, Jeffrey Epstein’s, and many others who used wealth for evil.  Those that acquire great wealth indulge to their hearts content in all the great sins they can imagine and then persuade others to join them. This sin is undercover in congress.   We saw in President Trump’s, the greatest threat America has ever seen with wickedness at the top corrupting and defiling every system under his authority, establishing evil authorities to do his will as they all satisfied themselves with run-away power.  The great plan and plot of Satan is the enticement of mankind to gain power to corrupt his own soul and that of others to until Satan’s power prevails in the earth.  We saw this in the flood, the Tower of Babel, in Sodom and Gomorrah and in nations and kingdoms that God destroyed or brought down.

The greatest problem with preachers preaching a smooth gospel is that a weak gospel fails to convict sin in the people of God.  The word of God is our weapon but we cannot prevail with a dull blade or no weapon at all. Jesus not only showed us how to prevail against the devil but He told us about the devil.  Jesus’s ministry showed us His campaign against the devils’ work in the bodies and minds of the people and continues the work of the kingdom building by establishing a church to fight against Satan.  The blessing that Jesus brought us, not found in the Old Testament saints, was empowerment of the individual believer and the church body as a whole to stand up in Christ to fight against the work of Satan.  Jesus was not shy in discussing with us in scripture the enemy we were fighting.   The Old Testament saints rested on the power of the King or High Priest to defend them against evil workers.  New Testament believers are a royal priesthood for Christ to exercise power against Satan but the believer also walks with King Jesus and have His powers.  Just as Jesus had power over the devil and demons, He made available to us that same power of the Holy Ghost to rebuke the devil and bring the power of God to the multitudes to set the captive free.

And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.  And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.  Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.  Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven. We are witnesses for our God and He has given a commandment:  Lk 10:17-20

America has tried to substitute us with a tyrannical government and a weak church.  We must rise us and say, “No.”   We may live in a time and a place like the early disciples did where the devil ran roughshod over people and the land but we have the power of God available to stand up against the devil himself and declare the name of Jesus and make him flee. God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind.  Jesus has come to set the captive free.  Our battle is not against flesh and blood but against the devil that Jesus has already defeated.  Satan’s power is already overthrown by Christ and we claim that power through our relationship as Christ’s body.  The devil may roar but we have power to make him bow down to the power of God.  Jesus left His power in the earth in the children of God to put a check on the power of Satan operating in the earth, regardless of the position he takes.  We are the light that destroys the darkness in this world.   It is time for each of us to be fully empowered in Christ and be about our Father’s business to stand in Jesus’ name and exercise the power of God that has already defeated Satan.  It is time to preach good tidings to the meek, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim liberty to the captive, open up the prisons, comfort the mourners,  to give beauty for ashes, cause the heaviness to dissipate by the spirit of praise because this is the acceptable year of the Lord.  So we should bring drown the strongholds by doing what Jesus said:

“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mar 16:15)

Principles of Authority and Submission

Our discussion thus far has been about the authority of God, the church, government and family.  We learn the principles of authority first of all from God in His authority over the earth and mankind. When we examine the original rule of the earth we find God gave authority to man and woman to rule the earth and over their family.  Only after the original fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is Adam given authority over his wife and she is called to submit to him.  It must not have been a hard and fast rule because we see God tell Abraham “… hearken unto her voice…”( Gen 21:12) regarding putting away the bondwoman, Hagar.  In the New Testament, we are told there is no male or female in Christ (Gal. 3:28).  Wives are still called to submit to their own husband, but the husband is told to love his wife as his own body, which should have abolished selfishness.   Submitted wives still have the power of prayer in their marriage for the intervention of help from God in the marriage and she retains her power over Satan.  Every person needs the power of God to withstand Satan who may come against their soul at any time.  All people are called to walk in humility with one another and before God.  They are to be guided by the New Testament commandment of love.

The New Testament call for submission has given some leaders license to abuse those under their authority.  Jesus called for those in authority to exercise righteous authority and love should cause them to serve like Jesus served.  If those in authority would serve like Jesus did when He was in the earth, there would be no abuse problem because love would be the motivating factor in the relationship.  We do not abuse what we love.  Submission should be a covering of protection, not abuse.

In our society males tend to believe they have a type of lordship over women.  It appears men at every level have an expectation of women submitting to their power. That is not what Jesus authorized.  Similar to the lording over women in the home, we see the same kind of authority being exercised over the mostly female participants in church.  Society has reinforced that trend of men claiming lordship over women and abusive male authority has imitated in business and government.  Because the authority in America has been mostly masculine over feminine, it has legitimized male authority to a point where it has become abusive and used by Satan to run roughshod over a defenseless group.  Similarly the authority of the land has been mostly white authority over blacks and it too has given license to abusive rule over blacks.  Anywhere Satan is given an inch; he will seek to take a yard.   A succeeding pecking order has existed where black males have used their masculine authority to abuse the women under them.  We commonly hear whites talk about the angry black woman. Why is she angry?   This scenario shows that she has cause to be angry at being the culmination of this line of abuse.

Some walls are difficult to bring down and allow enjoyment of liberty for all.  So where does this reign of terror end?  First of all white people need to get truly saved and submit to God who teaches us to love all people.  If male preachers would first obey God and teach proper submission in church, we would have the opportunity to affect a difference in our society as a whole.  Husbands would then honor their wives and allow them more liberty, male employers would treat better their female workers, government power would be exercised more equitably, and racial issues would be easier because of the reduction of abuse.  Of course, the man of God must first learn and practice that submission before he can instruct others in it.  Therein is the problem for the white man and subsequently the black man.  The Holy Spirit beacons us to let Him be our Teacher.

The church is the primary place where society gets its moral guidance.  If the church would insist on teaching Christ’s truth and example about authority and submission, it would make a big difference in our world.  It starts with the preacher setting Christ’s example of godly order in his home and then teaching it to the church, affecting the surrounding community and world with that truth.  Christ practiced authority as a servant though love.  Our whole world has suffered because of Satan’s lies about authority and submission.  God is not a tyrant like the ancient European kings.  He does not send His servants out to beret the vulnerable in order to collect treasures for Himself.  God is righteous authority and His spirit is one of giving.  His servants submit to Him out of honor and respect because He is righteous and good.  Jesus did not enrich Himself with bounty while His servants lived in poverty.  Their lifestyles were all the same, unlike preachers today who flaunt their riches and then challenge believers to give more offerings in order to catch up.  Righteous men have the privilege of serving like Jesus and their home and other groups they lead in righteousness may submit to their leadership in respect.  Evil men exercise unlawful authority to make righteous people submit to them but God established that the righteous should rule over evil.  He has invested in us righteous authority to bring down evil and make it submit under God.

White evangelicals who have boasted of submission to God and have gone on to evangelize the world have finally realized that there is something wrong with their own submission to God.  Let’s look at a testimonies to this revelation.

Following is an excerpt of an article written by Mark Galli, former editor in Chief at Christianity Today (the Christian magazine founded by Billie Graham, 1956) entitled: The Heart of Evangelism, May 19, 2019:

“I do remember when I became aware of a personal crisis that gave me insight into the challenge we all face. I cannot remember the time and place, but I do remember my reaction.

It may have been as the result of hearing a sermon, or perhaps reading a book. But I distinctly remember thinking that my Christian life was sorely lacking in the love of God. I didn’t have any affection for or yearning to know and love God. I wasn’t angry with him. I didn’t doubt his existence. I wasn’t wrestling with the problem of evil. I was being a faithful Christian as best I knew how. But it occurred to me that I didn’t feel any love for God… My next thought was, ‘Well, if I call myself a Christian, I should have greater love and desire to know God more deeply. Perhaps I should pray for that.’ And that’s when something occurred to me with great force: I wasn’t sure I wanted that. I recognize that was an odd admission for a person who claimed to be a good Christian. But there it was. I didn’t think I really wanted to love God more. The reasons for that are complex and will be touched on later, but the bottom line was: I really didn’t want to love God.  There is a danger to universalizing one’s personal experience, assuming it applies to others, even an entire body of believers. But I actually believe it worked the other way. For some decades now, as evidenced in my writing, I’ve believed that American Christianity has been less and less interested in God as such, and more and more at doing good things for God. We’ve learned how to be effective for him, to the point that we don’t really need him any longer. It was that continuing concern that finally took hold of me, making me realize that this was not their crisis but a crisis we all share.

Fuller Theological Seminary president Mark Labberton summarized the crisis of evangelicalism at a national gathering of evangelical leaders at Wheaton College in 2018. He called it “political dealing,” and he castigated evangelicals for grasping at political power, for racism, for nationalism, and for lack of concern for the poor. As is obvious, he was only talking about conservative evangelicals, but to him and many elite evangelicals, it is these evangelicals who constitute the crisis of evangelicalism today.”

There are many accounts being reported of a crisis of faith in the white population and particularly in evangelicals.  Mr. Galli, after writing a December 19, 2019, editorial entitled, “Trump Should Be removed from Office”, subsequently announced his retirement from the position of editor in chief for Christianity Today as of January 2020 and converted his faith to Catholicism.  The tragedy of this crisis of faith that white evangelicals are having is that they tried to lead the nation during their confusion and tried a last ditch effort to prevail in power by giving the nation a false messiah to lead the nation through tyrannical rule.  Worse than their confusion was their efforts to both lead and oppress the black population and Christians with their power.  Many black Christian leaders were following suit where the popular white Christian leaders told them, believing the “superior” lie and denying their own minds and past teachings.  This is the very reason that Jesus had to come and die to set the people free from false religious leaders and give them their own source of inner guidance by the Holy Spirit to save believers from being led astray or coming under man’s oppression and subsequently, the antichrist’s rule.

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance. Ps 33:12

Who Is the Ruler of the House?

“Once a government is committed to the principle of silencing the voice of opposition, it has only one way to go, and that is down the path of increasingly repressive measures, until it becomes a source of terror to all its citizens and creates a country where everyone lives in fear.” ― Harry S. Truman (Special Message to the Congress on the Internal Security of the United States, August 8, 1950)

As the white community continues to complain about the nature of crime in the black community, they, nevertheless, are the source of the crime when they enact oppression upon the black community and create voids that need to be filled.  This explanation makes it easier to answer the questions being asked by both black and white communities.  White communities want blacks to stop committing crime and they try to contain it through various methods that do not reduce crime.  The black communities want white people to stop oppressing black people and depriving them of life’s necessities, but black abilities and their very bodies have always been a resource and supply for white comfort.  This is the inner workings of the systemic evil that is the American system of government.  As a system or group begins to see a greater outbreak of violence, it can be traced back to the source of greater pressure placed on the oppressed by their oppressor.  It is a pressure valve that needs to be released because God provides sustenance for all His creations as David stated  in the 23rd Psalms.  The culprit is not black people or their behavior.  We have traced the problem back to its source: the white oppressors.  That is why Jesus concluded that the poor you will have with you always.  It is because the rich will never stop oppressing the weak and poor for their own personal benefit and their greed is never satisfied. That is why the rich corporations do not want to pay $15 an hour for labor.  It would cut into their profit and comfort.  The second richest man in the world is Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon.  He is quoted in Market Watch, May 5, 2018, as saying:   “The only way that I can see to deploy this much financial resources is by converting my Amazon winnings into space travel.  That is basically it.”   People offered other suggestions for the use of his money but he is pursuing his space interest.  His employees reportedly have long complained of poor working conditions at Amazon as reported in Fortune.com, April 13, 2021, by Danielle Abril.  The New York Times news revealed an investigated project of Amazon’s labor practices where his work plan seems to favor constant turnover of workers, each lasting only a few years.  This is a similar work plan to that of the slave owners. They worked their slaves in manual labor until they had no further use or died.  Can we see that history is merely repeating itself in disguise as progress…warehouses instead of plantation fields?  The rich oppression of the poor is why Republicans will not agree to righteous policies submitted by the Democrats.  It is because the Republicans support rich people and corporations who contribute to the campaigns that promote their comfort and continuance of office for these politicians who want to retain their power and wealth.  Where oppression of the poor and needy is being hidden by the wealthy, God still sees it, hears the prayers of the needy and weighs the action of the rich.  Jesus spoke on this scenario often and the odds are against the rich man entering the kingdom of heaven because of his greed.

“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.” Mar 10:25

Jesus also told the story of the rich man having plenty, pulled down his barn to build a bigger one for all his goods but not knowing his soul was required of him that very night (Lk 12:16).   Lust for money hinders love of neighbor.  Jesus also told the story of the rich man’s suffering in hell and requesting that the poor man he had oppressed during life should come and bring him comfort.

And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Lk 16:24

While the greedy oppresses the poor and weak in this life, Jesus made no mystery about their appointment and destiny with hell.  This story also reveals that great poverty is the result of great oppression of the poor by the rich and that God will judge it in the end.  We can see what this looks like in places like New York City or California where there is great wealth and also great poverty and crime. The rich get richer and the poor gets poorer because of the oppression of the rich against the poor.  Jesus, in the midst of the great poverty of Jerusalem, comes to  comfort the poor and declares that they are the ones who are indeed rich.  His first sermon is for the comfort of the poor:

Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.  Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.  Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.  Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.  Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.  Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.  Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. Mt 5:3-12

It is important to realize that while Jesus came at that time to comfort the people who had been terribly oppressed by the Roman army, corrupt church leaders, and the economic system; He had come to relieve the poor and discipline or bring judgment on the oppressors.  When we follow scripture, we see how loving Jesus was with the oppressed and how He taught and instructed them to continue to behave in a godly manner; but He berated corrupt religious leaders, who had beaten His people.  Not only were the leaders displaced at His coming but they were told their destiny in hell if they did not repent and accept Christ’s Lordship.  Those that do not accept the lordship of Christ are automatically under the lordship of His adversary, Satan, and will take part in his fate in hell.

Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge: and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst. Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it. Isa 5:13-14

The bible is filled with hope regardless of people’s condition, but the Lord makes it plain that disobedience would reap wrath from God.

While there are many people that will try to obtain their needs or desires by oppressing or violating others, God has taught the righteous that their needs would be met through obedience to His voice.  The richest men in scripture were men like Job, King David, Solomon, and Abraham, who were obedient servants that trusted and loved God even through their trials. God’s rewards or blessings are promised to the obedient, but curses, wrath and punishment are promised to the wicked.

If we can know the nature of a people, we can also know the nature of their nation and perhaps the state of their souls.  In Sodom the nature of the people was known as soon as the angels entered.  They were all Sodomites with the exception of Lot, whose family had been infected as well.

The nature of our environment, whether peaceful or disruptive, reveals the kind of authority that rules over our environment.  White people rule over this nation and their nature is the same as that of their ancestry who claimed Christianity and yet blood reached out against and  killed blood for wealth even before the slavery and oppression of blacks.  When God is over the house in truth, then the house is at peace.  When the character of a house is that it is full of evil, jealousy, spite and greed; it reveals the nature of the one over it as being the Evil One, himself.

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. Jas 3:16

When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none.  Then he saith, I will return into my house from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty, swept, and garnished.  Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be also unto this wicked generation. Mt. 12:43-45

The last scripture in Mt. 12:43 makes it clear that evil spirits want to take over and rule in a house without check and that they will fill up a house with evil when there is no protection to stop them.  We saw this being fulfilled in America in 2020 and still being exposed in 2021.  It is the responsibility of the righteous to pray and seek God to rule over the house where they reside and with His help to cleanse the environment.  If they do not stand up, evil can and will overtake the house because it was found to be unrighteous in God’s judgment.  Righteous white people should have risen up to stop the devastation of 2016 election, the ongoing corruption and insurrection in 2021 and certainly any possible re-election of the last president.  Christian preachers are called upon to exercise their power in Christ to reign in authority over the enemy of humanity to block wickedness from oppressing the people.

But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. Act 1:8

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Lk 10:19

Christ reigns where He is wanted for the benefit of His people.  Satan and his followers rule anywhere they can get away with it.

Communities overrun with violence, crime, hatred, oppression and poor leadership reveal who is the lord that reigns over that community.  Regardless of how bad it may look, it can be turned around by the people that will pray and seek God like the people did who started the Great Awakening.  Christian writer C. S. Lewis said: “You can’t go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending.”  There have been several Christian awakenings in the history of the western world.  The white community has been trying to bring on an awakening by their deliberate efforts and for their rule.  We need a new awakening for sure, but awakenings have come in the past when people realized how bad things were and their desperate need for Christ.  They had to awake to their true state or identity.  Awakenings did not come because people were trying to reinforce their power but when they realized they were broken and helpless.  Awakenings come when people realize they are lost or have fallen away from God’s presence.  There are people who have been deceived by the enemy that can be saved once they realize the truth.  There has to be a sincere crying out for Him as the only One who can help.  This writing was not for the purpose of condemning the white community because we all have our responsibility for the darkness we see.  Repentance cannot come until one sees that he is wrong, lost and helpless to fix himself.  That is a hard place for the white community to get to because their loudest cry at this hour is how superior they are.  They have been willing to go to any depth to prove that they are better than blacks, Chinese, Japanese, Africans, Asians, Native Americans, Muslims and any non-white American.  Their efforts have been to secure for themselves a special home and ruler that cannot be Christ because He is not that kind of God.  God is not prejudice against skin color.  Whites have tried to bring about a unity based on their will to rule and have a homeland but that spirit is one not submitted to the Holy Spirit.  They must realize that they are not revealing repentance but arrogance.  People who try to follow them must realize this also.  Until white people realize that their plan is not of God and repent, they cannot see an Christian awakening that would include them.  Until they realize their own sin and repent, they cannot be revived by Christ.  Until they put away evil, they cannot see God.  This writing is an effort to point out these things to them because people seldom recognize our own sin or errors.  That is the reason why God appoints prophets and preachers to reveal a people’s sin. America is wholly following a program for wealth and pride through oppression of the poor.  She is wholly given over to sin till even the churches are ruled by those that seek wealth and pride.

How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:14

Pride, concepts of white unity, and the desire for nationalism prevent white preachers from being persuasively used of God for this task, even though several books and sermons have better defined certain aspects of the problem than I have here.   This task has been my assignment and I have been writing and talking about it for the past 40 years.   My own deliverance was wrought through studying and realizing these facts.  More important, God has been pointing out these problems in great detail through signs in our weather, politics, community turmoil, media reports, diseases, family disruptions, racial conflicts, and general dissatisfaction.  All of these visible signs and symptoms were supposed to remind us of the warnings and plagues written in the book we claim we live by that tell of the destruction of past nations and kingdoms.  All of these are attempts to awaken a sleeping giant called Christians.  There is a driving force working in the main stream that is denouncing the truth every day and the seekers of truth must work diligently to find it.  The bible is the voice of God speaking to every heart to serve God and live.  The love of God through Jesus Christ stands in opposition against every enemy device and compels man to do what is right.  God compels us to love God and to love our neighbor as ourselves and to put away evil.  He has told us not to covet, steal, or oppress our brother. There is no need for greed when we have a loving God willing to give us anything we ask for in Christ’s name.

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? Mat 7:11

God loves every type of person in the earth that is made in the image of God.  He proved that love by sending a Savior to die in our place for our sins when we rightly deserved death.  Jesus is that Savior who was willing to lay down His own life so that we could live.  His sacrifice deserves our love in return.  He instead asks us to give our love to the Father and He pours out His love on us.  He has no favorites, but everyone can come to the table to eat and find what they need.  He has promised us peace, our needs met, joy unspeakable in this life and mansions and eternity in heaven.  Jesus, lovingly, shows us our faults so that we can put off sin and put on righteousness and enter into His loving presence.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:9

America is in a state right now where it is investigating the crime scene of the January 6th insurrection but the problem seems to get worst and worst.  Leaders are refusing responsibility and blaming others.  The unredeemed cannot help save the lost.  Righteousness must prevail.  A cleansing is needed in America but that is difficult because many religious leaders who should help lead us to restoration, did themselves help lead the nation to support the president who inspired the insurrection.  Political leaders and religious leaders were part of the plot.  We need changes in our leadership.  The Old and New Testament demand that we put away evil and come to God.  Americans are still unsure of the nature of the past president who held the highest office in the hand and drew people to him like a magnet.  Many are still saying he is God’s man.  God did not fail to tell us what evil looks like and what we saw in the 45th president was evil.  If we overlook his personal traits and just look at how many people died or suffered at his hands, that alone would prove his ungodly nature.  To date, more than 600,000 people have died of Covid 19 because he lied and did not fulfill his oath of office to protect the people.  Countless immigrant children were separated from their parents at the Mexican border, put in cages, slept on the floor and suffered abuse, emotional and physical.  Under the oppression of this former president, white and black Americans have become hateful and divided.  Oppression drives people mad.  “Surely oppression maketh a wise man mad; and a gift destroyeth the heart (Ec 7:7).”  Those facts alone reveal the type of leader and person this president was.  This was not God’s leader because he did not reflect God’s character.  People who followed and supported him must drop their pride, admit they were deceived and confess their error and sin in following him.  God demands that we put away evil and be healed.  Healing cannot come forth without confessing sin. Both the Old and New Testament require confession of sin.

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2Ch 7:14

The New Testament allows forgiveness for sin and a fresh start.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1Jn 1:9

The Word of God gives us the ability to identify evil through spiritual discernment or observation of a person’s fruit or characteristics.   Discernment by the spirit or by fruit is so very important at this time because there are many people in high positions that are trying to deceive the public into believing they are righteous to have their way.  Galatian Chapter 5 gives us the criteria for discernment:

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,  Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,   Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. Gal 5:19-21

We can recognize these traits in a person and know that Christ does not live in the heart of such a person.  Recognizing these traits in a person is only one means of identifying one who does not serve God.  The children of God are given warnings and discernment to recognize evil to keep them from being led astray.

For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?  But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1Co 5:12-13

If the righteous do not righteously judge the wicked in our midst (as Congress should have done) then the yeast of evil will contaminate us all.

A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. Gal 5:9

The bible clearly identifies the personality traits of the past president as evil and the American people need to recognize this fact and separate from those evil.  Even the secular press has identified his evil ways as adultery, narcissist, liar, thief, disloyal, arrogant, deceitful and greedy.  While Christians are called to pray for our enemies, they are also called as a priesthood and watchmen that must blow the alarm.  We are not barbarians seeking the strength of  tyrants to rule us.  The trick of the enemy is to weaken and deceive a whole nation.  To save our nation, we must recognize and reject evil leaders because we have seen evil leaders destroy nations.  The nation is at a crossroad but the righteous are called to stand against Satan’s work.  Every believer has the ability to stand like Gideon, or Daniel and the Hebrew boys for the Lord they serve.  Our nation must denounce sin and live for God.

If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king.

But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up. Dan 3:17-18

God’s kingdom is nigh even as the tempter seeks to destroy a nation and a people.  We will have to put away our idols, false religion and false leaders to follow Christ and unite as a people.  The true gospel brings people on one accord.   We all can impact our own neighborhoods with the love God gave us.  The first disciples of Christ were able to influence the world as they began witnessing at home. Through witnessing the love of God one person at a time and with our modernization and technology, we have greater opportunities to do greater works than they.  We each can start making a difference and make things better.

The investigation is over and your sin and mine have been exposed for the purposes of changing our ways so we can be pleasing to the Lord who died for us. I wrote an article on my website in June of 2015 entitled: “America Just Does Not Work Without Christianity”.   We are seeing America operate in dysfunction because America is rejecting God and some people in the nation are no longer even pretending to operate in Christianity, even in religious circles.  Once professed Christian leaders over churches and cities have announced they are newly aligned with evil.  Christianity operating at its highest level does not promote white supremacy; in fact, it opposes the sin of arrogance and acknowledges that God is not a respecter of persons.  There is a people that do not want to go through the suffering required to be a child of God. True Christians are those that have been tried in the fire and have come out victorious.

White preachers tried to force white supremacy to work with Christianity and democracy but it was all based on telling lies. It was all about fulfilling their desires, not God’s.  White nationalism was their plan, not God’s.  When their plan to usurp the law of the nation and the faith failed, they fizzled into the disorder we see today.  They had no alternate plan because everything had been working in line with their plan and was running smoothly until God intervened in the bag of lies and blocked their evil plot.  The tower of our will is always pulled down by God.  White religious leaders and politicians are still trying to make their original plan work regardless how ridiculous the lies.  They would rather fight than face the shame and humiliation of past wrongs committed.  They cannot foresee any other role but whites leading and controlling.  None of us want to come face to face with our wrongdoing because we do not want to face the shame.  Yet the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ is intended to be that place where they can fall down in sorrow and find help.  We have a forgiving God.  The gospel of Jesus Christ is the vehicle and setting for reconciling or atoning for past sin through the forgiveness of Christ.  Those that carry guilt must confess and receive Christ’s righteousness and those that have been wronged should be prepared to forgive sin as Christ forgave ours.  Reconciliation starts with the wrongdoer confession of sin but healing must go further to the healing of the wounded and relief from ongoing pain.  Peace comes about as a result of properly reconciling the wrong.  Love has to replace hate.  Stolen merchandise has to be returned.   Christ has confidence that we can change.  He is both our Lord (intercessor/defense) and our judge in the court room.  He does all His work by love and we can be assured He is ready to receive the lost in love.  He has paid the price for our reconciliation.  It is time for brokenness to replace America’s pride.  It is not America who is great.  We got that wrong.  It is our God who is great.  Any nation can be great with our God.  Many nations place a hope in America because they saw or heard of its beauty, justice, freedom and opportunities.  What many of them did not realize was that they were witnessing the afterglow of the Holy Spirit poured out on a people who chose to do what was right toward each other.  They saw a people who called on the name of Jesus for defense.  They acknowledged faith in the Son of God who was sacrificed for them.  When people do what is right, it creates an atmosphere of harmony that others want to be a part of.

America became a system of justice that others admired.  America cannot be an idol to other nations because she stands or falls based on her obedience to God as did the nations before her.  When America’s obedience falls, she falls as well.  We are seeing days where America does not want to obey God any longer but make a god out of riches and herself.  Only if we continue to let the Holy Spirit shine through us will America continue to shine abroad.  It is our decision and our choice.  May God bless the America people with repentance to return to her God and may the people rejoice in His love.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Joh 8:32

Conclusion of the Investigation

When we examine a crime scene, we are examining the oppressive power that has come in to corrupt peace in an environment and learning why it happened.  The crime scene resulted from acts of oppression and theft.  It is a story of evil forces acting upon another to both oppress and take something of value for their own personal benefit. That is an act of greed operating to satisfy itself through oppressing others. The love or lust of money may have led to oppression for profit.  The oppressor operates on a level of authority within his reach to oppress the weak below and subject them to his thievery.  Employers may oppress employees for greater profit.  Supervisors may oppress employees for greater bonuses. Bosses may oppress lower level bosses and employees for promotion. The owner of a company can oppress everyone in the company for his wealth.  When oppression starts from the top, it causes oppression at every level beneath because it becomes an evil system, systemic oppression, or an evil company.  In any oppressive system, there is a continuing amount of merciless pressure being applied to those underneath by the oppressor.  As long as that pressure is continuously being applied, there will be breakouts of disruptions of negative responses in the form of anger, violence, poor products and a spread of oppression to others because they are all under an oppressive system.  Oppression begets oppression because those under oppression will seek relief by operating in abuse of someone else’s rights and privileges to compensate for their loss.  This theory is revealed in what some people call black-on-black crimes, where black people have long been oppressed and deprived of their God-given rights and kept from peaceful enjoyment of life but may seek relief from others.  The Psalmist in Prov. 30:9 prayed that God would keep him from poverty, lest he steal.  White people marvel at the obvious results of their oppression upon black people.  Oppression by its nature deprives someone of something and their lack of necessary needs causes them to seek supply for their lack with whatever is at hand even that which can be stolen from another to support survival.  The nature of oppressors is that they steal from others what they need to increase their own supply at the expense of someone weaker, repeating the same cycle of sin in the oppressed as that of the oppressor.  This is also the habit we see in the sexually abused. That is the position we started out discussing where nations rose up against nation and blood relatives of the throne against their own blood for power.  These nations were willing to exploit and oppress other people or nations to increase their own bounty and they have produced a body of people just like themselves.  We saw this personality in full display and living colors in the past president and in those that still follow him.  Their lust for riches proved their Christian loyalty and devotions unreliable.   In America, companies and CEO’s have taken the place of privilege like America’s past European rulers and now the people are at the mercy of rich CEO’s who rule their businesses and the halls of Congress.

We are seeing the original exploitation practiced at its beginning being repeated over and over in the nation of America through its people and laws.   Where white settlers used thievery of black labor from Africa to provide free labor to increase their bounty and for comfort of life for white people, that oppression continues and oppression is begetting more oppression to corrupt the whole system that God will ultimately judge. And though they claim they want to be a nation of whites, it did not work out so well for them when oppressing their own people for wealth in their homeland in Europe.  Some have mocked that the chickens have come home to roost, but the problem is that white people are determined to win their way regardless of what laws they have to break or what lie they have to tell. As we can clearly see through the present Republican legislators, they have developed a system that supports their privilege from top to bottom and can only be disciplined by their peers. This thievery presents a lack in the black community that results in poverty and violence that keeps the black community oppressed.  That is actually the purpose of their oppressive efforts as it was in apartheid South Africa.  White fear of repercussion breeds more and more oppression in the black community because now they are scared of retaliation. White police shoot and kill blacks with impunity and claim it was because they feared for their lives.  Police officers who are fearful should find another line of work.  Our investigation finds that oppression is a continuing practice in Apartheid America and the Republican claim of Christianity is hypocritical. Neither hypocritical Christians or secular reporters can persuade these false Christians that they are wrong.  Jesus said:  And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (Joh 8:32}.”  The truth is being told and some people are being exposed and imprisoned for their role in evil behavior but others are still undercover and determined to win at any cost.  The settlers have become the oppressors and Christianity has become a front like the false religion taught to the slaves on the plantations.  The original reason the settlers came to these lands was a desire for freedom from the forced religion of church and state.  Today Christian principles and religion are freely expressed nationwide.  Christianity has been capitalized and exploited across the nation as churches have prospered and excelled to mega proportion.  With all of these objectives having been reached, now whites no longer care about Christian values but are openly seeking white power, wealth and the land for their exclusive use.  About 80 percent of evangelicals joined in with other whites to install a Christian authoritarian government with Trump forcing out so called “outsiders”.  The white population have made a 180 degree turn and made a mockery of the Christian faith.  Their forsaken religion tells the story of the end of oppression and predicts a righteous end by God for the victims.  When righteous people refuse to stand up for truth, God stands Himself and upholds His truth.

The conclusion of the matter is that white people need to sincerely seek the Lord until He is found.  As in Nicodemus, sometimes religious rulers think they are saved because others submit to their authority but they must first submit to God’s authority and be like Him.  Jesus came to tell Nicodemus and all people, You must be born again.  Being a Christian is not about how often you go to church or what office you fill.  Nicodemus checked both of those boxes and still was not born again.  He had a conversation with Jesus and heard the truth but he still was not born again.  Jesus saw that Nicodemus did not have a heart to understand even the Jewish Law, let alone new truth.  Jesus asked him:  “Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things ( Joh 3:10)”?  It does not matter who you are or where you studied, the question is do you know Jesus.  Many of those trying to lead have never met Jesus.  You cannot lead in a godly way without God and His Spirit.  It is time for many white people to realize that they are no better than their forefathers who ruled by brute force for wealth and riches.  You cannot be saved until you meet the real you and hate what you see.  Once you see the ugliness in yourself and realize you are a wretch undone in need of a Savior, only then can you be saved.  You cannot be saved while proclaiming that you are superior to another being.  Jesus proclaimed us all sinners in need of salvation.  There is nothing wrong with the Christian faith but there is plenty wrong with many people proclaiming to be Christians.  This dialogue was an effort to show white people what they look like to God and what they look like in the looking glass.  Jesus said:  “Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again (Joh 3:7).”

Being born again means you have repented and received the love of Jesus in your heart. The love of Jesus in your heart makes you a new person.  Peter said:  “… Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (Acts 2:39-39).”

There are preachers, pastors, elders, bishops and people of all classes of religions that need to get saved.  The dysfunction we see in our world is evidence of the devil deceiving multitudes into thinking they are saved when they are not.  I was in church when I met Jesus.  He drew me into the place where I could learn that I was a sinner in need of salvation.  There He told me to follow Him and I have been following Him ever since.  I still mess up at times.  I am saved, not perfect.  He is perfecting me.

Can you tell me the story of when Jesus showed you your sin and then said: Follow me?  Did He lead you through repentance (remorse for your past deeds)?  Did He convict you of your need to be baptized in water for the remission of those sins?  Did He fill you with great joy in your soul and a love for all people? Do you have the assurance that He lives within your soul and will come back for you one day?  Do you find joy in reading His word and knowing that you are part of the family of God?

Once you know you have experienced those things, you will not find glory in being a democrat or republican, European or American, black or white, male or female.  Your joy will be in being a child of God and you will want to share that same joy with everyone.  Your joy will be increased as you do the will of the Lord.

Don’t substitute that joy for gold, rubies or diamonds that will lose its luster in the presence of God.

Don’t substitute stupid gods for the real God.

Don’t waste your life on things that will not bring eternity in heaven.

Realize that God loves you and His love overcomes lack of anything else!

The Decree

What is the decree?  The decree is God’s word which has not changed. We have the right to declare the Word of God and bring it into existence in our situation by the power of God through faith.  We declare and decree as a child of God:

  • You are free and not bound. Jesus Christ has made every child of God FREE.
  • You are the head and not the tail.
  • NOW are we children of God.
  • Death has no dominion over you.
  • Jehovah God is in control.
  • Jesus Christ is Lord.
  • God loves you regardless of your present status
  • You can make it through your storm with the Lord.
  • God loves every soul and grants forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ.
  • God covered me in my mother’s womb; I am fearfully and wonderfully made
  • Believers have power to tread on serpents, scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy that nothing by any means hurt us.
  • We are the temple of God, Christ’s church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against us.
  • We are victorious and more than conquerors in Christ.
  • We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us
  • We can ask the Father anything in Christ’s name and receive.
  • Heaven is the home of the believer.

This is one of many writings by Apostle Joyce Reba Payne, Truth and Life Ministries of Christ to let the saints know that God is still speaking and moving in the earth. Christ does have a message for His people today. All is not lost, but it is time for a change in His people.  It is time to throw off the lies and get the truth.  Continue to follow this ministry messages as the truth is unfolded. The truth must arise to defeat the lies of the enemy. Those that plan on having heaven as their home must know the truth. We must be more alert, recognizing the times, as the end times draw near. God is in control.  Satan is defeated and Jesus Christ lives and reigns!
